No issue. I watched abit last time...but the story and the actors didn't attract me that much...and technical aspects ...well, i know due to budget.

Btw the 2, Wang Qing appeals to me a bit more. He's the younger cousin of the actor as GuYang (Guhai's cousin)...can see abit of resemblance/hint.

Mmmm...in the mini movie, Feng Jianyu's eyes....eye-shadow?

 

And about the language thing mentioned above....i remember reading some comments when much earlier, korean and thai fans 1st saw Addicted drama, when no subtitles of their language appear yet....some are attracted just by the visuals...and comment they want to learn chinese just to understand this drama. Or maybe some feel the translation (subtitles) might miss out something from the original language.

Yes, I think he put on eyeshadow this round cos this was a mini-movie that focus on the "cat"
The top in this series is manly  yet still confirmed his gay tendencies

 

 

Honestly the two male leads in the Addicted is not too attractive(don't flame me don't ), they looked so straight.....

and the story about the poor boy living in that old house met a rich "prince" who is damned rich-> there is something unrealistic w the fairytale
It didn't make matters better when they happened to be "half"bros who all happened to have gay tendencies
The who is supposed to be as straight as an iron rod yet allowed himself to be ..........ooooops

and I m not comfortable with this series of many versions, censored and missing this part and that ....
Pls don't scold me ok?

This is an Internet novel, lots of things in the story are not realistic at all, quite a few drag-ass part, written mainly to gain more readership online to earn more advertising revenues. Only the first quarter of the novel (season one) is quite fast paced and well written. After the "against his wish" part, the story starts to drag till after that incident.

No issue...everyone like different looks or preferences. I prefer abit more str8 types....not so obvious.

Another aspect is how to say it....眼缘? Even the same handsome actor...and 2 person would say yes, he's handsome...but person A would want to watch his every drama....but person B would not.

 

For Counterattack series....isn't one a rich businessman? the other less rich too? And the very 1st time i encountered it, reading some intro....saying the guy's gf left him for another guy....so he tried to seduce the other guy to break up the relationship....so i thought he pretending....that time, the storyline didn't seem to my liking. Later i know the story developed differently.

 

For Addicted....i had to admit....many fans look at it more like a fantasy thing.....some dream of having similar romance in school, encounter someone that fiercely love u (actually scary in real life) etc. Just like many str8 idol dramas. Of course mostly the success of this drama comes from the chemistry btw the leads and some emotional scenes....even idol dramas, a major part is the leads....not every rich prince, poor commoner story will succeed.

 

Btw....i'm thinking....similar to some cross-dressing dramas....gal dress as guy.....but opp....a guy was forced to dress as gal due to some reason....and another guy (a gay) befriend "her"....feel something for "her" despite he thought he's a gay....i wonder this would be fun or not. Any thai drama/movie got such plot b4?

for addicted, it is really too fantasy for me, though I enjoyed it too (but not to the extend of reading whole novel even though my Chinese language is never an issue in reading hinese novels)

Yes counterattack one is rather rich, but the whole show was not so much on using his weath to help the poorer guy and his dad....
He is rich but he didn't flaunt it unnecessarily

I'm not sure if they squeeze 18 ep (an info long mentioned b4 ep 1 started) into 15.....or they stop at ep 15 (with extra 3 ep not shown....meaning there's more after Yinzi's gf appeared)....but nobody mention about any extra 3 ep....so i think probably scenario 1. 

 

It's possible the author already shorten some bed scenes beforehand during filming. But in the end, even the kisses had to be cut off due to censor dept. These cut scenes (mostly kisses) are released later....but i notice the practice bed-scenes are abit longer and more "action" than the cut scenes.

From those reports, it seems that season 2 has not started filming & Jinyu is unlikely to be part of it. But some of the MV has a few scenes which are not shown in season 1. Eg in one of the 8 years later MV, it has a scene showing BLY has bruise injuries on the face & hands & sitting down  by the bed (I think). 

 

Hopefully, they are secretly filing season 2 & both leads are the same cast.

Happened to see this sequence of pics uploaded.

Whenever i saw this part....practice scene...i get the impression Jingyu was more muscular last time...the face also not as lean as now.

Also this part Jingyu admitted something like he 走心了. Think maybe that time they would comment more naturally....after getting famous, would have to be more careful.

 

If no JIngyu....will this pic be like they are saying good bye to each other....i mean the last time JIngyu played Guhai....

Reminds me abit of the last beach scene of Eternal Summer.

Still waiting for the official MV for 慢慢走....wonder why take so long....Weizhou's songs almost all released.

MV will be released next month together with his first album. Only three songs are out. Four more include 许魏洲 & 黄景瑜 - 海洛有因 are not out in China yet. 

 

In "Addicted" novel forum, they are discussing about Gu Hai 3.0 (as the producer is actively seeking out for guys that looks like HJY) and if they will still continue to watch if the cast are to be changed.

 

Apparently they think HJY is not the Guhai they wanted. Lol

It's indeed devastating if HJY will not reprise his role as GH. I believe it is the chemistry behind camera that serves as the foundation of the moments created in front of the camera. We can only hope the successor, who has a big shoes to fill, can have the same chemistry as what we see between HJY and ZZ.

The impression did not actually come from this song, but from the scenes when he sang Elton John's song and the way he answered the teacher's question in class (to be honest, it took me a while to get what the teacher's question was, but his answer sounded very clear to me :p)

If based on the novel storyline, yes, the stills and clip are indeed for the next season.

1. The image showing BLY and GH covered in mud was when BLY had a air accident flying a fighter jet and landed in a swamp, GH went to search for him and found him.

2. The clip showing BLY and GH on the beach and in the camping tent was when the 2 eloped and ran to Qingdao, a seaside city.

3. The next season will have more screen time for the romantic development of the other 2 character Yang Meng and You Qi.

 

The novel has 97 chapters and the current season stop when BLY's girlfriend Shi Hui appeared which is only at chapter 27, so still quite a long way to go.

I think they had filmed a lot more than the current 15 episode and all those talking about changing actors for the main character are probably part of the marketing, creating excitement and also to see fan's feedback and reaction.

Ever since this drama got popular, there are many songs where the MV scenes are taken from the drama.  I particularly like this MV below because it reminds me of the concept of 'family' as a gay couple.

Ya...i already mentioned b4 about the earlier version of Guhai including pics....actually they shared a mild likeness esp when looking serious...also very tall. But Jingyu is abit more handsome...and his accent n abit cute/ 萌 soften the "aggressiveness" of guhai abit. Just some impression.

 

From what i know one muddy beach scene is photoshop...the white beach scenes are part of upcoming mv...the tent scene someone said part mv scene....so far not enough info to say if they really film more than the 15 ep.

 

Anyway happy Jingyu and Weizhou appears in 快乐大本营....just filmed 1 or 2 days ago...should show mid apr.

 

Think got 张天爱 (太子妃) n 黄致烈 korean singer....heard the latter fell off the stage in this show...hurt abit but still can compete in 我是歌手.

 

Weizhou is "rabbit"...jingyu is "fox"...some game...different groups.

Why they sit apart? But think being more familiar...they should be happy to see each other on same show.

Dont know weizhou got envy or not...haha.

For the un-initiated, it's a web series that looks into the lives of a gay couple trying to move on after a bad break-up. The script is well-written and well-shot. Re-watching it, i always find something that i missed the last viewing. Highly recommended!

I don't know if they will encounter problems due to the recent restrictions on gay theme. Ya, it did mention Addicted season 2 and the high possibility that Jingyu won't be in it.
