erection day
I have this weekly craving for Ma Ling Luncheon Meat like crazy. Ever since this essential childhood comfort food of mine have been taken off the shelves, this craving for Ma Ling is driving me nuts. If I queue up for my breakfast mee hoon, my mind automatically has this vivid flashes of lightly fried luncheon meat dancing before my eyes. Ditto for lunch. If I am near a 'economic' rice stall, my eyes would automatically scan for that familiar sight of luncheon meat. Hey, I can even eat it straight out of the can. Heavenly. If anyone working in the Food Health Authority is reading this, please, please do something about the ban. renoma1069

These days, economical bee hoon no longer serves luncheon meat! I was so desperate for luncheon meat that i end up buying the Dutch brand (i think Tulip) and have it for breakfast 3 days in a row... But it doesn't taste as good as Ma Ling... Quote Koh Samui, I need u...

riverrobles
For luncheon meat, I don't eat Ma Ling anymore, my go to brand is SPAM and Highway Edited August 16, 2021 by riverrobles Quote I'm really turned-on if both heads (the head above and the head below) are both functioning well https://linktr.ee/riverrobles
iwannac
I've actually never eaten SPAM before. I've always assume it's the same as luncheon meat. Is it? Since it is (I believe) American, the price has been quite off putting compared to luncheon meat.

Nipoet
OMG I just told my SO yesterday that we long time never eat luncheon meat liao! But he prefers to eat the chicken one, although I've grown up with the pork version my whole life. :/ The chicken one still tastes OK though. mantin30
Anyone tried to eat the luncheon meat from the can without pan frying before?
robin
I just tried another brand yesterday, supposed to be healthier version. It does not have the taste of ‘unhealthy fats’ but it also lost the familiar Ma Ling luncheon meat taste. In fact, it tasted like rubber 😩
