lets this be a lesson to all the members not to wear expensive jewellery to saunas. abs is such a popular sauna now, its bound to attract all these thiefs

you are the ones who are inviting all these uninvited robberies and snatch thiefs with your show off jewellery

i just hope members be more considerate for other members too, its becos of you guys actions that cause that night to cut short of the fun for all other members becos of you guys calling the police over.

i was there that night and yes i was shock when there was an announcement over the air that the police is coming over, all the white lights were turn on.

the staff had already station all the towels at the lockers for us to use it. they also draw the custains to cover our nakedness from the main entrance.

over all it was well done, i heard some of the management ppl explaining to us that the police are here due to robbery and not raid.

we were told to go to the roof top cafe to chill out first but i guess many like myself left the place b 4 the police arrive as there was no more mood

we were told we could come back later after 12mn for free which i did and surprisingly, the crowd was back

i would have to praise abs staff and management for doing a good job although there will be always be some panic, i never got to see the police anyway.

i now hope members be considerate and stop wearing jewellery around to entice others to rob them and then call the police, it certainly disruppts our pleasure and in some ways our money too......i certainly won't blame abs since this is beyond their control

Thank you readers for providing the info regarding last Friday robbery case at absolute.

Hope everyone do take note and be careful when cruising in sauna. Try not to bring valuable stuff or wear valuable jewellery in sauna. Lockers may also be broken into.

Just a reminder to Absolute management, kindly have regular checks for your locker. Make sure the lockers are not broken when issuing out the keys to customers. Another thing absolute should note is that the lightings at the locker area is too dark. Customers can't even see the locker numbers and we had a difficult time changing clothes too. If lights were faulty, abs management should fix it immediately. You should have in stock of spare bulbs for all lighting in the premises. Lastly there should be a least some lightings along the dark room area in the 2nd and 3rd storey and please no total darkness. If the dark room is too dark, we can't even see who we are cruising. I hope to see improvement with the lighting.

As for the two victims, I hope the snatch thief be caught soon and your personal items return. We are in the same community, I hope we can help each other. There is bound to have a few bad apples around.

yupp, totally agree that the lightings are waaaay too dark. its especially bad for me cos i have night blindness, so i dont dare to walk into the dark areas cos i look like an idiot feeling the way in front with my hands, for pillars or corners like a blind man (which ok i am almost). but these dark places seems to be everywhere, and also seems to be where alot of ppl are hanging at..

also, when actions happen there, cant see anything clearly too. haha.. >.<

i think you guys are a bit harsh on the victims. it's true that we ought not to display expensive items etc to attract unwanted attention. but the suspect, or simply say, ROBBER, is clearly there to steal things. Worse, like what starlioned said, there could be more people, it's all part of a syndicate. The suspect already robbed one guy, and minutes later, started to prowl on another prey. Man, these robbers (i dunno if there's more than one) are really idiotic. We just want to have fun and they are there to ruin the whole place! No offense, but starlioned mentioned that it's a vietnamese guy. I'm not pinpointing anyone or what, it's just that some foreigners are here to pollute the whole place. No offense.

In MRT, bus, food court etc, most people who afraid no seat are not really all local ok? open your eye ( only if our heart & eyes not blind ), people who use tissue to reserve for seat, many are from nearby country who working in Singapore, include reporters, how many are real Singaporean? Don't tell me that your office or working place don't have any foreigner, esp those factory, they all behave like angel with golden heart, that's why sometimes when such ugly scene occur, i will shouted, check IC, my friends or colleagues will laugh, cos they know i am insulting those people esp those who like to use 'typical '.

To be honest, personally, i think is normal to display expensive items, is not a show off to me too, cos is not a big deal to me, you like the stuff buy it put on, nothing wrong, even go sauna, some may go during last min & not by plan, by putting in locker, i also prefer to wear on it, too bad there is always such 'typical ' around .

Not starlioned & the victim fault, but those greedy with evil seed within, no one can predict that will happen, they also want to have fun with max & home with fruitful night.

Feel sorry, hoping that CCTV system can clearly capture the person face & the justice will there for those victims.

I not sure what role Abs will play in this case, cos is really rare.

i read somewhere in trevvy forum before that absolute is a new player and may not have the experience to handle police visit well on a nude night , well i guess we can now reassured that absolute management has everything in place and done well

i think they far better than 17 when sam and the police had serious conflicts recently resulting him with police charges and heavy fines

Marketing ploy or not I do not know and I m not a staff of absolute but I certainly know their man in mask and nude foam party was indeed very pack with guys since I was there. The above statements are all true after all.

I thought a nude foam party would be suicide on a Tue weekday but the response was tremendous. I do not think any saunas ever have such kind of crowd on a Tue especially shogun even for their weekend cannot be compared .

Lastly there are 2 PC in Absolute, they could be using it to type the comments, so same IP address

So far this weekly event and fri tag event seems the most crowded throughout the week, I also heard their nude foam party is equally crowded.

Its good they contribute and supprt AFA and back to the gay community.

Their recent expose was by far the most crowded I ever see on a weekday wed, easily 100 over members during the peak hours

Feedback: they have to clean the rooms more often, they are heavily utilise. please provide bottle spray in every room so that we can clean ourselves if the staff have no chance to enter the room to clean due to high capacity usage. thanks

Tomorrow, Absolute would be celebrating its first anniversary with attractive lucky draw prizes. I think it will be packed and full of hot actions.

I have been to absolute recently. Interesting to note that there were few oversea crowd and they tend to like the place. Generally, the crowd has average to toned bodies. Most of them were waiting to be cruised...haha....So one has to be patient while playing the waiting game. While those more daring guys tend to make their approaches regardless of rejection from others. Some did succeed, not bad! Admire their courage. :twisted:

Went to Absolute 1st Anniversary party. Reached there at 5.30pm The free door gifts are quite good. Although mostly are vouchers. You get 3 months fridae perks, one free suntan from fabulous tan, 20% discount from sportsmanasia and many more. Today's event was jam packed with all kind of guys. All the private rooms were fully occupied. The private rooms were in a mess and unhygenic. Condoms, lubes, cum juice and toilet paper thrown everywhere. As all the room are fully utilized , the staff were unable to do the cleaning. The air along the passage way in the 2nd storey private rooms smell awful. It smells like rancid and also smell of stale poppers. I guess quite of guys were having poppers sex in the private room. One of the private room's door is faulty and cannot be locked. So nobody use it. The 3rd storey private room and maze is even worst. The aircon is spoilt. The whole area is stuffy like hell. Walk one round and get to start perspiring. Staff told me that the aircon can only be repair on Monday. Next, the buffet was average. Fried rice, chicken wing and many other finger food. The lucky draw start at 9 pm but I left at 8.30pm. With all the bad air quality which is naseuting when inhaled. I left empty handed without having fun with anyone. Anyway, most of guys are not my cup of tea. To me, they are a bunch of kids. Boring crowd. By the way, the boss of monsoon/storm salon was there too. The staff was asking why I left early. I guess they want me to hang around and show face. After all they need a nice looking lamp post like me. Ha ha ... Anyway who cares ...

I reached Absolute for its anniversary day at 5 pm. A queue has already there when i reached its entrance. At about five thirty pm, the crowd started to pour in. Just as my expectation, it was packed with horny guys Unfortunately, the air cond at the upper floor cruising area was down. It was terrible warm and stuffy when the crowd thickened. Even so, many were trying their luck there and the corridor was lined up with guys with all shapes and age. I could even hear the moaning sound in one of the cubicle while strolling along the hot hot corridors.

I should say the quality of the crowd range from muscular to chubby, chinese to whites. Since everyone has his own market and target, most of the rooms were taken up during the peak hours. The volume of crowd jammed the second floor since the air cond was down at the upper level, body to body contact while trying to squeeze myself through. Of course some notti hands were trying to explore whenever there was an opportunity..haha

The buffet was served at the roof-top cafe at about 6+ pm. Quite a relaxing time there while having my dinner with friends. Also able to see the people clearer in the cafe. The food was ok and sufficient to serve for additional rounds. The lucky draw was held at 10 pm and many were lucky to walk away with shopping vouchers. Overall, this anniversary event is considered successful with a turnout of about 300 horny guys. I have my fair share of them...hmm...no regret to the need of shedding extra 'sweat' while having fun....hahaha :twisted:

Not surprise, all these facial salons, slimming salons, tanning salons tend to be like that. Its really up to you to handle their selling

but I may try the abs machine one.

The last time, I went there after reading their advertisment in the newspaper. They did the same too. I was 62 kg and she said I was fat and definitely need to sign on their program to reduce the tummy. I mean, I have a slight tummy but to pay $1000 + to reduce it, I cannot afford. After that, they do not focus on me anymore.
