radical
Hi all, my penis feels itchy and when I pull back foreskin, it seems swollen. Any one know what condition is it and what to do? Will this go away after some time or it’s better to see doctor and apply cream? p-2122, whoever002000 and Jmar
Guest dr laymen
Firstly, the info is too short to advice. what did you do? The foreskin is swollen or the glans? The swelling could be a result of prolonged oral or oral with plenty of partners at a sex party but could be from extended fucking of an extreme tight anus. If you develop fever or strange discharge from your penis, better go STD doctor. Otherwise, dip your dick into a bowl of camomile tea 2 bags in a mug 3 times a day and see if the swelling reclines after 2 days. And don't worry too much... there's a cure for almost everything... Guest guest
this is known as balanitis. you should see a doctor. Get well soon!
sam8899
Most likely candida infection. Can try some antifungal cream from Guardian. That should help within 2-3 days. If you can get hold of some hydrocortisone cream as well, that can be very helpful for the itching. Or you can go see a doctor
Guest dr laymen
I wouldn't always conclude it's STD. (Men also can get a genital yeast infection, but it's much less common). You shouldn't apply hydrocortisone on your penis head. Be aware different creams have different content of cortisone. If you do, take a lower content one. But I would seek doctor's advice first prior to applying cortisone. From online: Penile Rash Worries Man This is the way seborrheic dermatitis (SD) acts: It sits around for years, causing minor problems in common areas (eg, face, scalp, ears, and beard). Then the stress of life intrudes, the candle is being burnt from both ends, and SD blossoms, appearing in places such as the chest, groin, suprapubic area, axillae, and genitals. Penile rashes generally get everyone’s attention, including that of the patient’s sexual partner(s). For the average nonclinician, the list of possible explanations is infinite—and worrisome. The situation is, in some ways, worse for the average primary care provider, who will almost always decree such a rash a “yeast infection” (though it seldom responds to anti-yeast medications—for good reason: Otherwise healthy men almost never develop yeast infections anywhere, let alone on the penis). End of quote. Many skin issues do not relate to infections from another person but have its origin from the infected person himself. Anyway such reactions can occur due to stress or low immune system. It is always better to treat with mild treatments instead of the "antibiotic" or "heavy" cream such as hypercortisone type. If the issue doesn't decline in 2 days, go to a doctor.

I was not suggesting to use it as a daily moisturiser.

hidingnhiding
Hi, Sorry for asking a stupid question but I would like some tips on how to actually clean my penis properly. Of course i do wash it everyday but I frequently get inflammations so I am unsure whether it could be my cleaning techniques being wrong. I am uncircumcised and have a tight foreskin (27 currently). I only managed to retract my foreskin about 7 years ago and over the years, i think I have managed to loosen it up to an acceptable degreee. However, my frenulum feels stretched when I pull the foreskin back and instead of being straight, it kind of "curves" to a side if anyone gets it. Everytime I masturbate, the friction causes the penis head to become inflammed and for a few days, it will stay inflammed especially the area where the skin connects to the "Mushroom head". I have been to a doctor once when I had this and the doctor basically said it was just an infection and prescribed me Hydrocortisone and this Atopiclair cream to apply, and I have been using it everytime it acts up. However, it worries me that it acts up so often so I would like some advice to possibly eridicate this issue once and for all. Using such creams so often also makes me scared that it will affect the health of my sperm as I actually have a girlfriend and we intend to have kids in the future. The condition of my penis has honestly affected me mentally because of all these worries. As such, would like to get some advice from fellow men here first as I believe the issue shouldnt be a worrying condition. Appreciate if you guys can help. Thank you! Guest Just sharing
Suffered for almost 8 months for recurring balantidiasis. No cream or pills to clear out this infections. As mind was not a mild case. I masterbath and my fore skin was normal not tight...bath and clean the penis head daily. Still nothing improved. Urine was normal. I did not feel sick with fever but the pain in my penis head did not go away. The infections did not go away in first place . Once apply the cream it goes away for a week and came back with itchy and swollen and red dots with red patches. Also my sugar control was normal . I went to doctors at STD clinics and normal doctors. Only one recommend came up . To do circumcise after test. Finally I approve The doctors remove the tip of my fore skin. Now I am in my 2nd week into healing. Still nothing happened...my penis head is normal without any itchiness or red headed patches. I am not taking any pills amoxicillin and not apply candidates cream till now. So far not seen any recurring balantidiasis ..... will update any questions if I can ..
