nikepro
I have seen all 3 versions, but watched the 80s one very long ago and only have a minor impression of it. Out of the two recent ones, I prefer the 2009 one. Victor Chen's Tripitaka looks more vulnerable and in need of protection, whereas Nie Yuan looks too hardy. Also prefer the look of the 2009 Sun Wukong. The costumes, music/songs of the 2009 version felt more agreeable to me.

Bern
RIP.A Tweet From Paul Walker Helped Save a Community A remote, island community in Indonesia remembers actor Paul Walker, who died last week, as an activist who gave a giant boost to their fight to save the environment. By Resty Woro Yuniar JAKARTA, Indonesia—The sudden and shocking death of Hollywood actor Paul Walker in a car accident has leftmany of his fans around the world in deep sorrow, including an indigenous community on a remote island in the far northwest end of Indonesia. Within weeks the petition went viral, drawing the attention of activists and celebrities, including Mr. Walker, who tweeted: “Help! The beautiful Mentawai reefs of Indonesia are being destroyed in a brutal practice. Please sign to help stop it!” and added the link to Change.org’s petition. Mr. Walker’s tweet appeared to be the boost the alliance needed, generating thousands of e-mails to Change.org. Within 24 hours of his message the number of signatures on the petition had jumped from hundreds to thousands. Activists at Change.org Indonesia say celebrity endorsement doesn’t always guarantee a campaign’s success, but in this case Mr. Walker’s Tweet deserves some credit. “Paul Walker was known for his love of surfing in the Mentawai Islands, so people were responsive to his tweet and signed the petition,” said Arief Aziz, communications director at Change.org Indonesia. The attention around the issue eventually made its way to the government, and within a week of Mr. Walker’s tweet, the alliance members said they were invited to meet with the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. Since then, the ministry has sent random patrols into the waters around the Mentawais to check for boats that are bomb fishing, alliance members say. Last month, local media reported that authorities had seized two bomb boats and detained their crews after they were alerted of their presence by local villagers. Mr. Walker died on Nov. 30 in a car crash in Los Angeles at the age of 40. In a 2010 interview with Men’s Health Magazine, he said he had built a house deep in an Indonesian jungle that he described as, “heaven on Earth.” Mr. Walker’s concern for the state of Indonesia’s coral reefs is reasonable. Indonesia is the largest reef nation in the world, with more than 19,000 square kilometers of coral reefs, according to the United Nations Environment Program. But 82% of those reefs are at risk, mainly from blast and cyanide fishing. Guest annoyed
Dear 仙人掌,Frankly speaking, whats the point of reading someone's life or fate after his or her death?Whats the point of telling us about his or her 劫数 and how long that person's life is when the whole world already knows it?!Sorry if I sounded offensive, but stop behaving like those HK fengshui masters who always start boasting about their "prediction" after the death of a celebrity.

Guest annoyed
That bodoh above you do not know what is the real meaning of "马后炮"。It was an offensive post to anybody understand 命理.Firstly,Usually, when a person (eg. 高凌风) suddenly passed away, then people will be interested look into his bazi.If a person is healthy, why should people look into his/her bazi? ( For goodness sake, get your facts right, he died of Leukemia, not some freak accident. It seems sudden because his condition is well covered. And by the way, he is not really young anymore, so I dun see why is it considered as sudden? )A doctor will not tell somebody in the street s/he has cancer without proper diagnose. Something must had happened, then s/he will see consultation first. Bazi reading is the same!( Why must people seek consultation only when things have happened? Nowadays many people are kiasu and kiasi, they will seek consultation before things happen. And since the deceased did not seek any consultation when alive, so why not just leave him alone after his death?! )Secondly, Very often, when a person is dead, his/her DOB sometimes can be found in the internet. When 高凌风 is healthy, his DOB never appear in the internet!( Are you sure it has never appeared, my little boy?! And shouldn't the prediction be made based on his 生辰八字 and not his "angmoh" DOB?! )Thirdly,It is very stupid and time wasting looking a healthy celebrity's bazi. A healthy person won't see a doctor. ( Sure or not? What about those healthy people who go for regular checkups and seek regular consultation from doctors? And dun you know many celebs paid regular visits to the ex 白龙王 when he was still alive, whether they were facing difficulties or not?! )Lastly, the bodoh who made that offensive post obviously does not know what is the exact meaning of "马后炮"。( Pardon my ignorance, please explain the exact meaning of "马后炮" to me then. )After reading my replies, you decide for yourself who is the real bodoh. One of his acting movie that I enjoy watching repeatedly is What Dreams May Come. As he rests in peace, and like what his wife mentioned, "As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin's death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to million". Guest 夜莺
Depression, like a lot of other mental health conditions can be deadly. As soon as these diseases are given the same respect that other deadly diseases such as cancer, emphysema or deadly heart conditions, then we might make headway and reduce the deaths from mental illness. While society continues on he way it currently does, sufferers live in silence for fear of discrimination, they suffer alone and continue to die. Of course, way below that in the late 70s and early 80s, he was definitely the star in "Mork and Mindy" and recently in the "Crazy Ones."....
