It is really fun when you have a good Dungeon Master. And we had a great one. It would be fun to start again if people are willing (and someone has the books). I used to be a part of a board game group and we played roleplay-lite stuff like Betrayal at House on the Hill or those Cthulhu coop games. A friend introduced me to Dimension20 and Critical Role. I have been searching for IRL DnD sessions, but unable to find any other than the Adventure League going on at the Boardgame stores, though I am more interested in homebrew/modules. So I got FoundryVTT and started DMing a homebrew campaign since November 2021 (about a year now) with players found via Roll20 forums. I have to say, it is the most rewarding thing in my life right now haha. FoundryVTT is also by far the best Virtual Tabletop platform that I have used and my players love it. I am still on the lookout for an IRL group to play with on the weekends (daytime - before 7pm). I dont mind being a player or a DM, but I believe in the Singaporean context, it is quite hard to keep to schedules anymore. Almost everyone I know here are always busy, either working on the weekends or spending it with their family/SOs. The friends from Europe I play with usually live by themselves as well - so they can schedule sessions more freely, which is much different when compared to the Singaporean outlook. Fingers crossed to find a good group of people in SG someday soon!
