Cannot you have this any other day of the year? And cannot you find more attractive sex partners than Santa ?? Why not listen during this Christmas week some singing more musical, like this one:
Coolbriz
Recalling the very first post of this thread, “When a child is born” is always my favourite Xmas Song, even though I barely know the true meaning of this song when I first heard it. The song exudes a sense of peace and hope with such harmonious melody. Never been in a snowy place during Xmas, it seems like the feeling might get even stronger if I were to listen to this song. I personally feel that listening to Xmas songs in colder places tend to set me in more emotional mood while it doesn’t quite feel the same in the tropics. Well, you might not agree with me on this but that’s how the little me feel during Xmas season. Are you humming or listening to any Xmas songs right now? The jingling jingling bell seems near…☺️ shyc 1 Quote Be cool, like a breeze...
shyc
It was one of the earliest song I learn to sing in school. Back than, before I even know what is Christmas, Christianity or Christ. I remembered it as a beautiful song but what intrigued me the most was the almost narratives part of the song. ”And all of this happens because the world is waiting Waiting for one child Black, white, yellow, no one knows But a child that will grow up and turn tears to laughter Hate to love, war to peace and everyone to everyone's neighbour And misery and suffering will be words to be forgotten forever” An age when I don’t even know the differences about race, colour, war or peace but somehow this struck me the most. As I slowly grow up, was in my army days that suddenly got exposed, mingled with my ‘Hokkien brothers’. The racist slurs that was never a part of my vocabulary. Guess it was the inevitable turning of age; the tour of duties open many doors. Unfortunately some would have been better unlearned. Growing up, most of our doors are not locked during the day and we, as kids tend to run in and out of neighbours houses as if our own. So in my life before army, there were no such things as colours or religions; We just live as one. I truly treasured those days unlike these days where talking to someone is like treading on minefields, one misinterpreted word would cause unforeseen impending disasters. Sorry I digressed but it hard to pick one song to like when there are thousands to love. Coolbriz
