Dr T
Hi there, I know of a few personal friends who went through the surgery. It's definitely not easy. Will be very challenging initially as you cannot eat anything except liquid diet. Complications include malnutrition, hair loss, abd discomfort, vomiting, nausea. Results will only be very good if you stick to their eating plan and also add on exercise. Some of my friends still experiencing side effects after more than 5 years after surgery. The nausea, vomiting and pain is usually a lifelong side effect. Must make sure you exercise to maintain your healthy lean muscle if not you may feel weak and may get flabby. You should also ask NTF if they have any support groups you can get in touch with. So as to help you. Hope this helps. practease

westcoastboy77
Thanks Dr T. How safe is the surgery? I am concerned about the recovery process as I am diabetic and that might slow down the recovery process. Have you heard of Dr Aung Lwin? He is my consulting surgeon. I am unsure if he is the right man for the job.
