Do not ever make mistake by getting tattoo! Gkaan-Phuah bloody stupid to get tattoo!

Terrible video posted above that is full of generalizations. Although I agree that one should not get tattoos if they think that it is cool.

I have a word tattooed that serves as a reminder for me, to be whatever the tattoo embodies. Shapes are fine too, if it means something that you can connect with at a personal level. But I do wish I knew how tricky it is to maintain tattoos before getting it :P

Also, it is best to get tattoos at areas where the skin do not stretch, so that it will not fade out that badly over time. And also if your line of work allows you to be inked. My colleagues and even the managing directors have tattoos and it is fine :)

That video is indeed terrible,  not because of what that asshole says, but because of the way he says it.  People with tattoos become VICTIMS of their tattoos,  so it is not the proper thing to bash them, but to warn others who what a tattoo to stay away from them.  Like many other things.  tattoos are attractive and become a source of later victimization.

That's a good idea.  In this way you change it at will.  New week, new tattoo of style that fits new bf...

I would not even get semi permanent tattoos (6 months to several years)  claimed by those who inject the ink into the top layers of the skin.  I would distrust anything that pinches the skin.

I have a Thai tattoo on my back. It is a nine peaks mount meru. Because it is on my back which I cant often see, as such I dun realise I have one. After the tattooing, I worried abt getting hep c n worried will it look nice when my skin start to sag or when the ink start to fade.

Now as I mentioned I dun realise myself that I do have one tattoo on myself.

When I show to my colleague, they were like in disbelieved. I think to them tattoo is being associated with bad things like gangster or something.

But now thinking of the tattoo makes me remember the sweet journey I took travelled all the way to wat bang phra temple in thai to get it done.

In Singapore, tattoo is still a big no-no.

Before signing-on as a Police or Regular, strictly NO tattoo. In China, it is the same.

Only the kaam-laan go for tattoo.

Same applies to women. Girls with tattoo are damaged. I have mixed with all kinds of women in the States and Singapore. I find it quite true. Impulsive. No self-control. No exception!

I knew people will disagree with what he said. Everyone has own opinions and views.

I hate to convince people to believe too. That's my perception.

Once I see people got tattoo, really can go "jzia-saaii".

I am against tattoos,

but I am also against these smart asses in the videos on the last post.  They speak like they have any authority, but they are damaged goods themselves.

Girls with tattoos are no more damaged than guys with tattoos.  They agreed to have something done that looked fancy,  without realizing that one day they would regret it.

No more and no less than that.

I remembered a joke I read long time ago. A man and a lady went to a hotel to have sex. The lady was shocked to see AIDS being tattooed on the guy penis and immediately confronted him. But the guy asked the lady to calm down, a few seconds later it will become ADIDAS.

I have been thinking for the past five years to sak yant too.

Eventually, I will want a gao yord - the one you currently have. I also want the ha taew (five lines) on my back.

I even know where to get the sak yant.

The only thing that's stopping me is... I don't want the tattoos for their seemingly mystical powers. I just like them for the aesthetics.

I'm still thinking through it though.

Forgot to explain earlier that the guy is a footballer. He has tattoo on his arm and chest of branded company who sponsors him. Everytime picture of him with the brand name appeared on media, he will get paid.

I know ha taew from angelina jolie's shoulder blade/back.

I got it for mystical power sort of. But I dun think it has the mystical power cause I dun feel it. But maybe have protected me also i dun know. I rmmbered one of it for the gao yord is to protect from black magic.

And also have a long list that u cannot do after sakyant. The one i rmmbrd are cannot eat bitter gourd n pumpkin. I can stay away from bitter gourd. But for pumpkin i cannot stay away from too long.

Cannot walk underneath where they hang clothes/underwear.

Cannot get shelther under pedestrian bridge.

And most importantly cannot have women sit on top you during sex. Not sure applicable to man sitting on top someone or not.

Can summarise for us? I use translation but cannot understand fully, the sentences are in fractions not connected.

I’ve always found tattoos to have stories. I mean, of course there are people here and there who get them for the sake of getting them, but I quite like the idea of getting inked. Though, even then, I’m still not the most confident to talk about the tattoo I’ve always wanted to get because people can be too quick to judge and they forget that the tattooed body isn’t even theirs to comment on.
