Btw any chub recieve msg from slim guy in Grinder or any program, scolding you why you so fat yet seek slim? I so piss and get all this msg by this naive people!!

I think u r the naive one. Why r u on Grindr the first place, im dumbfounded. Its like a superchub walks in Adsolute sauna, u think he will get a proper treatment from the hunks there? Be more knowledgeable and aware, know your correct platform to avoid being cyber bullied.

with all due respect, i don't think anybody's naivety is at question here.

it's just a matter of pretty (yet ironically, empty) guys who spend hours working on their aesthetic appeal (and none of which on their personality) and their complete and total disrespect for another human being.

what you refer to as a 'correct' platform is what i take to be you treating bigger guys as lesser beings. they are not.

often, we see 'chubs' offering themselves up to chasers, appearing to have no self-esteem whatsoever. unfortunately, this is a consequence that the media has put into all our heads. buff, muscular and fit guys are 'hot' and anything less is just... 'not'.

even with this stereotype in mind, nobody should treat anyone less just because of their physical appearance. yes, this is an idealistic notion and probably will never be achieved 100%. but in a community that faces so much discrimination from the rest of the world as it is, should we all not agree that it be best to keep any 'internal conflict', so to speak, to a minimum?

i think the last thing we should do is take the whole 'out of my league' segregation for granted.

to all good looking, hot and drop-dead gorgeous guys out there, a simple 'no thank you', 'i'm not interested' or even ignoring the other person's advances would suffice.

the world contains enough pain, suffering, sadness and discrimination, and it is not necessary for you to add on to that unhappiness. if you find somebody is harassing you (which i have had on several occasions), just tell them to back off or you'll report them to webmasters (or simply just block them). feelings don't have to be hurt.

bigger guys exist, and the reasons why are countless. don't speculate and jump to conclusions that these guys are plain lazy. i know of overweight people who exercise their brains out and can't shed a pound. in the same way, i know slim, 'shapely' people who have never done a minute of exercise, eat what they please and don't retain a gram of fat.

simply put, it's just demand and supply. if the supply doesn't meet your demand, move on to another market. but don't shit all over this one.

anyway, sorry for being longwinded. bottom line is - STOP THE HATE! so let's all just be thankful for what we have.

Cheers & Good Luck, Guys.

xoxo

I think u r being overly complicated. What i mean with the "correct platform" was if u r chub and chasers u should use Growl or Scruff or similar market platform instead of Grindr where we know full arrogant hunks that think they are above everyone. Just a friendly advise to protect yourself being cyber bullied.

haha bro,

i rly hate to be quarrelsome n i really hope that's not how i'm coming across. i wasn't just referring to your comment in that there's a form of discrimination, even in the design of these apps - which i find to be quite off-putting. i mean, gay should just be a generic term. i think the further labeling of the 'kinds' of gays makes the distinction even more obvious, which i think shouldn't be the case.

If any of ya'll watch modern family, and seen Cam & Mitchell, Cam's obviously a chub and Mitchell's more of a 'cubby/bear-y' kinda guy, but there's no mention of labels throughout the show. it's just being gay. and i think that's how it should be culturally in sg. I guess the reason the LGBT community is given so little credit is because it's still so primitive in it's own way, with people within the community having to identify themselves with specific labels.

nevertheless, i'm no activist and i won't pretend to be.

and sorry to be so straightforward, but no. i'm not being overly complicated either. i believe many will agree with what i said about LGBT culture in sg. nothing against you, of course...

cheers man :)

I hate to say this but it is a sad harsh truth that guys go for looks first before befriending one another. Sometimes, I wish Singapore is like United States where chubs are widely accepted by guys of all types. A face pic always decides the final answer between both parties. I am sick of hearing "Sorry, you are ugly,... I am not interested in you... " and even worse, these guys suddenly stop talking after seeing the face pic. What is wrong with making friends, never mind about stereotype. I really hope to see guys accepting one another as friends and get to know one another more like the heterosexual world.

My dear chub friends, it is really no point of losing weight and becoming a hunk when you are not happy, it is really a waste of time pleasing hot handsome hunks. Why must sacrifice your own happiness to please guys? What matters the most is that you are happy being a chub. A happy chub attracts people. I encourage you to ignore the rude or bad comments about your weight and think postively. Cheer up! :)
