Hotel Istana in Kuala Lumpur was one of them, perhaps the most "in your face" kind of experience. Entire night kept hearing the sounds of a railway train chugging by...peered out..nothing. Even their MRT was not in operation.

My partner cant sleep very well on our last nite. When we reach to his place he tell me abt his feeling about the hotel and i share my experience we both had a goosebump.

I traveled most continents, crossed most seas,

but I never had a creepy experience.

Why is the Providence negating me any creepy, supernatural experience?

Is this fair?

There is still time LOL!

Seriously, my most creepy experience was really my own fault. Like Steve5380 I have been incredibly fortunate to travel round the world regularly. Based in Hong Kong, there wss a time when the cheapest place to purchase round the world tickets was Kuala Lumpur. Then it was Bangkok. So for several years I purchased all my air tickets from an agency in Thailand. Around 2004 I was flying from New York's La Guardia to Los Angeles on an American Airlines 767. Security was tight and we had to watch our bags go through a scanner before going upstairs to departure. Then I was in the line for the body and hand baggage security check.

As this was an afternoon flight and I had had a free morning, I popped down to the Village to buy some gay porn DVDs. On my return to the hotel, I had decided not to put  them in my locked suitcase and instead popped them into my trolley bag. Going through the body scanner a very overlarge lady looked at my boarding pass. She then asked me to move over to a large table, take off my shoes, belt and tie and open my bag. She then proceeded to empty my bag and putting each item on to the table. By this time I was praying she would not open the front flap with the porn. She did! And put the thee DVDs on to the table for all other passengers to see. I found this very embarrassing.

Eventually I was told to repack and go to the gate. Once on the plane, and about to enjoy a pre-take off drink, I heard my name mentioned with a request that I go to the first class cabin along with my baggage. Great, I thought. I'm going to be upgraded to first class. Alas, not so! I was asked to go back to the gate accompanied by two of the airline's security officersl. I had no idea when I might have done or why I was being subjected to this. At the gate, one of the officers asked me to put my trolley bag on a seat and just wait. All the time, the aircraft's departure was being delayed. Eventually the over-large lade came waddling down toward the gate. The security officers asked her to hurry. When she reached us, she pointed to my trolley bag and the flap which included the porn. Once again the DVDs were taken out.

At that point, the security officers got extremely angry with her. I believe there is no law against carrying commercial porn (unless it's underage) but she was probably some church going lady who felt I was disobeying some other law. The security officer asked me to repack my bag, in no uncertain terms told the lady she had been wrong and than apologised profusely to me. They wanted my name and address so I could receive an official apology from AA. I assume that what I had gone through amounted to some form of harassment and they were concerned perhaps I would sue! I simply told them it was no problem. All I wanted was to get on the plane as I had a dinner engagement in LA. So with warm handshakes they escorted me back to the plane. Once on board, the senior purser came up to me with a glass of champagne and then later with a bottle of the first class champagne. It was a great flight!

As a postscript, I later noticed that my boarding pass had three rather large letters printed on it - SSS. No one at American Airlines would tell me what this meant. But a friend who works for Cathay Pacific told me it stood for "Special Security Screening". Apparently this was not unusual fafter 9/11 or tickets that originated in Thailand! So if you happen to see SSS anywhere on your tickets or boarding passes, now you know!

Interesting experience!  We are fortunate to live in an era and a country with more personal freedom.  It may be worth to give American Airlines it a thumbs up!

Thanks for the information about SSS.  So it is "special security screening",  and not a tag that one belongs to Hitler's Schutzstaffel  ( ah no, this was only "SS")  :)

This happened a couple of years back when my colleagues and I decided to do an impromptu vacay to Batam. It was my first time staying overnight there.

After checking in, we decided to do some shopping at the mall that is connected to our hotel. My female colleagues decided to book a spa treatment and since we had two hours to spare, we had lunch before shopping. Later, when the ladies went to pamper themselves, I headed back to my room to chill and the plan was to wait for them to be done and we would have dinner together. By the time my colleagues were done, a good 4 hours had passed and we had a late dinner, followed by drinks in the hotel lounge (if I recall correctly, we were the only customers there). We headed back to our rooms at about 1 a.m. to turn in for the night. After a shower and some channel surfing, realising that there was nothing much on television, I turned off the television and lights. Almost immediately I felt every single strand of hair on my body stand. This was the very first time I had experienced such an intense feeling. After saying a prayer and brushing off what I had felt, I tried my best to sleep but somehow I tossed and turned the whole night.

The next morning, after regaling the experience to my colleagues who just sat listening intently, one of them calmly told me that she had experienced the same thing the night before. However, for her, she saw a black figure near the door and it lingered there for quite a while before disappearing. This colleague is rather vulnerable to such supernatural occurrences and has personally experienced them. She told us that just as she was leaving the spa, she felt a presence and the figure probably followed her all the way to her room before 'crossing' over to mine (we compared our 'time stamps'). Thank goodness it was a 2-day-1-night vacay!

I've always been sensitive to the supernatural. I can sometimes feel a presence in a room or near me - I've been creeped out many times in various places!

This incident occurred during a work trip to the Philippines. I was sharing a room with a colleague. When we checked in, I could sense something in the atmosphere but I didn't want to scare my colleague. Later that day, I was trying to take a nap on the bed when I sensed a presence hovering directly over me. I could "see" a female face in my mind and feel it in front of my face.

The next day, my colleague mentioned that he had a dream in which he saw a female presence standing in our room and staring at us as we slept. I told him what I sensed the day before and got him all creeped out.

as my luggage came out on the luggage conveyor belt, it was marked with chalk marks of crosses all over. Even though I had packed it myself, I was still shocked and wondered if someone planted something inside midway. Of cos I was stopped by security who emptied the entire contents and they realised it was some slides for a company presentation I had inside that must have screwed up their sensors.

I had a similar experience.

I was stopped before exiting the luggage collection area in Singapore.

was very worried as I had bought a new vibrator plus many silky lingerie and panties in Bangkok! 😜
Luckily the Cisco uncle only went thru the motion of scanning my bag with the x-ray!

I went to our office building in KL late at night. Drove to the Carpark of the building. Reversed inside the building. The corner was dark except my car light shining that area. I thought I saw a person sitting or squatting at the corner. I looked again but of course nobody was there. I came out of my car to look around for a switch to the building obviously I could not find. I said to whatever is there don’t disturb me and I came in peace to check whether I would take this office. Anyway nothing happened. I expected he would knock on my car window. I said don’t be noti leave me alone I come here in peace. Next day I didn’t feel well.

Do you think I should take up this office?

Hi everyone. I would like to ask. Does anyone know the signs of black magic? Especially those from Mainland China or particularly Yunan area? Which black magic includes rubbing bloodstains on the targets house?

I have a friend who needs help with this. Thanks.

Was fun reading the replies in this post, so here is my story from a few months ago... enjoy 😭😂

The sun hadn't even started to set as I arrived in Zurich, switzerland and I had already found myself knee-deep in trouble. I had found an interesting ad on hot.ch that said I could find a "massage girl" (obviously it was including sex...) in the city (sex work is fully legal there, but needs to be licensed). Being the adventurous type and also bi, I decided to take the plunge and give it a shot... kind of a mistake.

I made my way to the given address, and I was relieved to see that it looked like a pretty legitimate business. As I entered the room, I was met with a beautiful woman, but clearly a professional. We made small talk for a few minutes, discussed the price and then she took off my clothes and we got ready to start....

But moments before we could start, I heard the sound of pounding on the door. It felt like a long time before the door burst open and the police raided the room. We both, fully naked, froze in the sudden shock of the situation.

The police quickly detained us and told us they were here to investigate a unlicensed prostitution... and they wanted to see the permit of the girls... (fortunately, my girl had one) I only then realized that I had been caught in their sting operation. What was even more embarrassing was that the detectives were extremly unprofessional and one guy was kind of laughing at my but naked self...

The thought of it still makes me cringe, but hey - I can now officially say that I've had a wild experience in Zurich...
