to be honest, swimming is such a chore now. i miss those days when i can go to the pools as and when i like, without the need to book in advance.

I disagree. Initially, I had the same thinking at you. As I learn to live with the pandemic/endemic, I have adapted to it. Swim slots are too aplenty now. You don’t need to book days ahead like gym slots. If you can spend time browsing BW or looking at Twitter, I don’t see why you cannot spend just 1min to book a swim slot? 😝

Forgot to set alarm at 11:59 am to book, no more swim slots at 7:30 pm 😖

By the way, to few swimmers from BW who dm me and approached me at the pool before - at the pool usually focus more on observing others (male and female) swim stroke, style, etc. than a person's look unless someone i know - am really sorry if i didnt recognise you when bumped into each other again at the pool 🙏🙏

Also need to go there earlier or else can be super tulan having some folks who prefer want to just soak water or couple chatting at the 50 m lanes.

Tempted to tell them if dont want to swim  then dnt anyhow occupy the quota for the 50 m lanes! no brainers 😖

Yeah. That’s true. Just last week, there was a guy who could barely swim 50m. He had to stop 2-3x along the way and he needed to move to the side and yet, he chose the big pool. IMO, he should had chosen the teaching pool instead. Very disruptive to the person who share lane with him and he had taken a spot where that spot could be occupied by someone who wanted to do lap swim.
