The competition pool is scheduled to be opened oy next year. 
Yeah… the thing w the teaching pool is having to turn and turn and turn. Good for practicing open turn.

the floodgates have opened....they have increased the number of places for all slots next week as expected. Now probably no need to set reminder at 1158am but then need to pray pray:

1. no traffic jam on the lane

2. no couples or group of people who occupy the whole lane just to soak water at one end

3. no screaming children & their equally irritating parents

Hope everybody can still swim in peace😊

Screaming kids will have their swimming lesson outside of adults swim tine, right? Since Covid19, kids abs adults have not mixed.

I have seen kids not taking lessons can still go in with their parents (a.k.a family outing) during the normal slots in the last round of ambitious reopening & they can scream equally well too😆. Let's see next week haha

Yesterday I was there in the afternoon I saw everyone self-divided so that only 4 shared one lane.

That's not so bad. At jalan besar, there are uncles who just float on their backs like pieces of deadwood in the middle of the lane. Potential collision hazzard.

Such situation has been greatly reduced since Covid19. Pre-Covid19 days, we did see a lot of such. 
You must be the lucky one to witness this nowadays. 😬

Yup...thankfully, these are rare and isolated instances nowadays. But still irritating nonethess.

The other thing is the old uncles who blare hokkien and beijing opera songs on their radios-cum-mp3 players. They just let the music run loudly from the benches while they take a shower at a cubicle far away. Sickening idiots.

Yeah I just swam at serangoon pool. It was pretty crowded but the loop lane I swam was okay as I was late and people were already departing or relaxing. Got one bright red trunks guy...woo
