Just watched Yi Fong and Eleanor Kitchen. I found Eleanor quite a character and begin to like her. I watched finish all the episodes. When I saw her movie the ghost story trailer, I didnt like her initially. But all this changed but saw her kitchen series.

i totally agree Eleanor is one of the very rare artist in the world that commands presence just by being in the room. Her striking features and natural beauty captures ones heart and soul. Maybe Eleanor had a head start in the world of celebrity as she was born from an actin, artistic, creative and business dynasty but it can only take you this far. Eleanor has sheer talent that solidifies her as one of fhe greatest young talent in fhe world right now. A true acting great who can only get better in her craft. I see Elanor being more avant guard in her artistic choises, more like a faye wong or juillian moore.

If that is the case, I think the 2 would be like a meteor hitting the planet Earth. Eventhough the 2 have arguments but still she respects her as mother. If you watched the shows, she said that all the invited guests have been telling or saying the problem with her mom which she either dont know how to say it without hurting her. But of course there are times she did say that it is because of her and not because her mothers bring up. Cause she said she knows someone who has rich parents but the children are not good in manner. But still she admited her influence in her life.

She looks pretty in modern drama. But in chinese ghost story, I feel that her face a bit plump. Not that pretty. Thats why my first impression of her based on that trailer not good.

A shame considering her dad is very handsome but she didn't inherit any of his pan Asian features.

Not sure about her talent because never watch any of her works before.

 

In Singapore alone, Carrie Wong, He Ying Ying and Kimberly Chia are much prettier than Eleanor.

Like I said to be able to survive in this industry need to have strong character. Not everyone has the luck, voice and talents. 

 

Just like Anita Yuen. She was really lucky. Got the luck and look and straightaway got the lead role. Many have to toil many years before got lead role. So when she brought biscuits from Lei Jing Hotel for her others colleagues, she candidly spoke wrongly 'you guys very seldom has chance to eat this, come and eat'. And her colleagues all doesnt like her. But she admitted her wrong in one of the interview. Her character is like that. Blunt and straight. 

 

Well there are some say things very nice but behind stabbing also have.

Pretty is one thing. X factor is another. I still find Eleanor looks better. 

 

I find Paige Chua and Jessica Liu are much prettier than your examples.

Quan yifeng indeed has the luck due to local don't have any female host who is good in hosting, and so mediacorpse has no choice but to continue to groom quan yifeng even though she has very bad character and attitude and with so many negative news about her back then.

There were a few times she was in her original self in the show (cos no time to react) and you can tell she is not an easy person to deal with too. Oh well, i dunno, cant blame her totally i guess? Her mum never set a good example at all and dunno what kind of values she is being taught while growing up. but you can tell she is a very complex person, i can only say good luck to the future bf / husband.

But the child is innocent. She cant choose her parents. Can only accept and bear with it. Whatever happens between adult shouldnt put a blame to the child. Quan Yifeng has her controversy but you can't deny she is an exceptional host.

I watched the 权听你说 series and QYF was an excellent host; respectful, genuine and entertaining.

 

Cannot dismiss her hosting talent by saying she made it just because she is from Taiwan.

Compared to other Taiwanese like Vivian Lai, Jeff Wang or Kate Pang, QYF is leagues above them in hosting.

The only other MDC host that is on par with QYF is Guo Liang and Mark Lee.

 

QYF has strong stage presence and she is also very blunt/authentic which makes her an excellent host, although those are the same qualities that also gets her into trouble. 

She has her haters but my friend told me he once saw QYF at the wet market and she was literally mobbed by all the aunties/uncles. So she definitely has her fans also.
