Perhaps a bit off-topic, but this forum I would hardly consider a wholesome place for young gay men. It is one of the very few communities out there, but this itself doesn't automatically make it good.

 

I do agree that it's good thing to have such warnings/sharings/PSAs. But I can also see where those who question the OP are coming from; if you go and involve yourself with a shady, complicated person, you should know the risks and if you get burnt, at least part of the blame must go to yourself as well.
