Half a min was all it took for me to be completely absorbed by the series. Who are your favourite characters!!! Unlike her rival who kept wanting to show off etc. all the shaman, fengshui, medium thing, i was like, seriously? I thought what Kim did with the „discovery“ in the bathroom was plain rude and childish. any favourite scenes? The series feels so scripted but still more enjoyable than singapore social. kim looks like kylie jenner, with same amt of lip filler. And amazingly, she just accepts dad is dead without any proof like death certificate. Cudnt the new wife lie on behalf of “tony” just to get her off their backs? kellys “we hv known each other for so long” refers to a few months of hobnobbing. period. basically, almost all the guys give off gay vibes. kevin is pretty cheap. He happily accepts dior gifts fm anna, returns them in case hes being tested, then when assured he wasnt, immediately accepts another shopping trip with anna. And for a model, its somewhat surprising he doesnt know fashion stuff n prices ? and the doc and wife can badmouth the docs family? They wont watch this series? Even if they dont, how can they be sure no one will carry tales? kanes cheeks looks like its filled with cement and his nose tip is crooked in certain scenes. Even the bridge of the nose appears very contrived, to the point that he looks like the vampires on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Can tell how insecure he is when he said nonsense like he is in SG tabloids every other week when nobody in Singapore heard of him before. I also think he only took Kevin under his wing because he has a crush on Kevin. Personally, I find Kane as a typical spoilt useless rich kid but he seems to be very popular with the general public. Jaime is super forgettable and even more useless than Kane. Nobody would miss her if she doesn't return in season 2. But overall, enjoyed Bling Empire and hope for season 2. It's definitely a much bigger hit than Singapore Social, which was a huge flop. Breakout star of this show is definitely Anna. Her IG exploded the most since the show started. At the restaurant, Kane, Christine and herself were served bone marrow and while the waiter was serving them, she commented that it looks like something that should be fed to the dogs. Yes, I for one will not miss her, she feel just like an extra in the show who tends to overdress. Kane is the brain child of the show...I doubt the captain will ever leave his ship. And also there is a bit of unresolved (unrequited) tension with Kevin seen in this season. I really can't stand the guy. He just seems so desperate for attention, and to be liked by his peers. Always wanting to say something smart or witty, but failing. And for all that money, his face still looks like reconstructive surgery. The only person I sort of feel has any principles is Anna. And because of Kane, even Anna promise to unite with Christine. Cannot spoil the plot, but it really shows his character.
