Have you tried this yet? https://www.samsung.com/sg/support/mobile-devices/how-to-free-up-space-on-samsung-mobile-phone-when-it-is-full/ (under delete temporary files) Recently I was playing with my file explorer and found many things e.g. telegram pictures, gif, all stored in folders but not shown any where else.
