Not true blue Sporean

PRC turned citizen

You may be right. He doesn't have that 'coolie' look.

True blue Singaporeans also don't speak with such (high) IQ.

He speaks like a Singaporean who has spent some time in the West. His surname Chew sounds Singaporean too.

New citizens can change from hanyu Ping Yin to dialect spelling. I know 1 who changed lin to Lim.

how you know he got served NS?

i think many welcome those who willing to serve NS and convert to citizens.
rather than those who convert to citizens but yet not willing to contribute anything to SG and worse, slam SG anonymously everytime - like many Msians.

He doesn’t look very Singaporean to me. My guess is his father is likely Singaporean but mother is from PRC so he is likely to be more culturally PRC in upbringing.
