The police also discovered that Jin Yingjun, the suspect in the male version of Room N, committed the crime as early as November 2013, and the crime lasted as long as 8 years!

Man blackmailed by FB ‘friend’ with nude pics

PETALING JAYA: A moment of thrill turned into a lasting feeling of regret for a man who was blackmailed by an online acquaintance he had just met.

The 35-year-old man, who wanted to be known as David Liong, said he got in touch with a man who introduced himself as a freelance model, 24-year-old John Lee (pic) on Facebook.

Liong said that incident happened on Aug 23 and they hit it off instantly.

The next day at about 1.30am, Liong and Lee were busy engaging in a video call via Skype.

 

 

Things turned sexual when Lee started to strip naked on camera and he persuaded Liong to do the same.

At about noon on the same day, Liong received a message via Facebook chat from Lee which said “I have a surprise for you”.

Unfortunately, the “surprise” was in fact screenshots of a naked Liong from their previous video chat.

Liong said Lee threatened to release the video to his friends and family if he did not pay RM5,000 via Western Union transfer.

“After the picture was sent, he messaged ‘You know what to do’,” said Liong.

To prove his point, Lee even sent screenshots of Facebook profiles of Liong’s friends to show him that he could destroy his life at the click of a button.

Liong stalled his blackmailer by claiming he was broke, before seeking help from MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong.

Chong said the blackmailer had been constantly pestering Liong about when the money would arrive and messaging as often as every half hour.

He added that a police report had yet to be made and both he and Liong agreed that no money would be paid to the blackmailer.

“I want more people to come forward. You cannot fight alone,” said Chong, who revealed that he already had three other similar cases involving online blackmail this year.

Liong, decked in a baseball cap and sunglasses, was present at a press conference yesterday to highlight his case.

“When you are blinded by emotions, you make mistakes,” said Liong.

This particular guy always hangs out in the vid cam thread, he had been called out many times and had been banned many times, but always comes back and the reason is very simple, there will always be sperm-filled dumb idiots who would show their face and dicks and have their act captured on video. 

 

Based on investigation, he had setup website where people will have to pay to watch those private videos he had captured and or he will exchange with collectors, videos of those sex act.

 

So, you never know, your moment of folly online might comes back to haunt you and eventually caused you to regret for the rest of your life when you video cam with people who has the habit of collecting videos of people online through online sex cam.

 

There are many examples of celebrities e.g.  罗志祥， 牛奶歌 ， 卞庆华 (most recent)  or influencers, etc. caught on video cam and later found on porn website, twitter, etc. or worst, leaked or dug out by tabloids or newspaper after one became famous or successful, etc. 

 

So, please be mindful what you do online.

Bid to extradite man over Daniel Perry 'sextortion' death

Scottish prosecutors have launched a bid to extradite a Filipino man over the death of a Dunfermline teenager who took his own life after being blackmailed by strangers online.

Daniel Perry, 17, fell from the Forth Road Bridge in 2013 after being targeted by a "sextortion" scam. It involves internet users being lured into webcam chats and then blackmailed.

A warrant has now been issued for the arrest of Archie Gian Tolin in the Philippines. The Crown Office wants to see him face trial in Scotland.

Mr Perry was said to have believed he was talking to an American girl online. Inquiries by detectives from Police Scotland revealed an online trail, which led to the Philippines and links to organised crime groups there. The extradition move is thought to be the first since a new treaty came into force between the UK and the Philippines.

'No hiding place'

A Crown Office spokesman said: "A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Archie Gian Tolin in connection with the death of Daniel Perry. "Steps are now being taken to enforce that warrant and secure his extradition from the Philippines." After the initial operation in the Philippines, Police Scotland warned there was "no hiding place" for those involved in extortion and blackmail. Det Ch Insp Gary Cunningham said: "Following the death of Daniel Perry, Police Scotland has continued its inquiries along with a number of other agencies including Interpol and the authorities within the Philippines. "A 20-year-old man is now subject to an international arrest warrant in connection with this investigation and it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.

 

"Speaking in 2014, Mr Perry's mother, Nicola Perry, said: "The manner of Daniel's death is every parent's worst nightmare.

 

"Losing Daniel has left us all devastated and we are still trying to come to terms with what has happened."
