98_FR Posted November 12 Report Share Posted November 12 Just attended the kickboxing session! The class was great and would highly recommend! As first timer in kick-boxing or any combat class for that matter, the class was fairly easy to follow and the instructor was very instructive and passionate. I quite enjoyed how the instructor gave alternative movements during the sets, so you can choose what you’re more comfortable with. Honestly, I was nervous in the beginning but after awhile, everyone was focused on the moves, so there was not much to be nervous about. Also, I have never sweat so much in my life. Moving forward, I would recommend bringing two towels, one for during the workout and one for after. Hahaha Overall great class, looking forward for the next one! Atmosphere - the trainer is friendly and try to make everyone feel at ease with the environment. Trainees - Age ranges from 20s to 40s, varying body shapes and types. Of course varying physical capabilties but nevertheless everyone completed the HIIT training. HIIT training - Depending on the number of trainees, there will be allocated number of exercise stations. Each station will have an assigned exercise which trainee will accomplish individually at your own pace and intensity within the allocated time. Dont worry, it is all about challenging yourself. Facilities - A air-conditional space for HIIT training. Loo is located outside and there is no shower facilties. Do remember to bring some wet tissues to wipe up. Not an issue for many. Perks/Cons - There will be eye candies for you to look at but that will usually confine to the beginning as once the HIIT training gets to you, you are just concentrating on your breathing and exercises. Jasperjustin Posted December 17 Report Share Posted December 17 Tried out the HIIT session today for the first time with the intention to exercise, have some fun and meet people. I think everyone was a bit awkward initially in the nude. But once the exercises commence, everyone was focusing on them and it was kind of fun and liberating. The exercises are definitely beginner friendly and anyone can do them. The instructor also regularly check your form haha to make sure u r doing it right! It was a great workout and post workout was amazing too. I’m glad I came cos of the people I met!
