XMEN
Hopefully the new place can rival other spa/suana like Sphere, BH and Diamond. Price must be attractive too. GachiMuchi
Guest, I think you are being unfair to have passed such a remark. How often had you patronised that establishment? If you were a regular, you should have been informed or would have known about the impending move. For someone who can pass such remarks, I doubt you go there often, let alone know people there. So don't make such attack when you know nothing about what had actually happened. Why don't you open a gay sauna yourself and show us, what good business acumen you have? Don't just "mouth talk, balls shiok" ok. Shogun was supposed to vacate their premise early this Jan, as the landlord already had interested party wanting to buy over the building. The boss has been looking for a suitable location since he was informed. Those whom he manage to contact, decline to rent him their premise, when they found out that their place is going to be used as a gay sauna. So you see, it is not that he was not making effort to get the place up early. When he finally found a place it is already June, there are renovation works that need to be done. So there you have it.Currently, the location is renovated. The new Shogun is slated to open in about 1 to 2 week's time. http://gachimuchi2008.blogspot.com

Guest Guest
Guest, I think you are being unfair to have passed such a remark. On the contrary, I think it is fair comment even though I may not have been a patron as frequent as you appeared to be.How often had you patronised that establishment? If you were a regular, you should have been informed or would have known about the impending move. For someone who can pass such remarks, I doubt you go there often, let alone know people there. So don't make such attack when you know nothing about what had actually happened.I am on their mailing list and my gripe is that the only information or updates from them were when they were holding 8door events… nothing about their temporary closure, relocation or reopening. It is not my practice to gather information by standing at the door to read what had been posted or eavesdropping on the proprietor’s (Richard) conversations with others. Why don't you open a gay sauna yourself and show us, what good business acumen you have? Don't just "mouth talk, balls shiok" ok. Your reasoning is similar to MM Lee’s admonition to his critics to run for elections and form the next government before making any criticisms. Why isn't this info dissipated via emails or posted on their website?
GachiMuchi
I am on their mailing list and my gripe is that the only information or updates from them were when they were holding 8door events… nothing about their temporary closure, relocation or reopening. Give them your no again and tell them that you want them to sms you everyday with events and promotions and up to the minute info. How's that?It is not my practice to gather information by standing at the door to read what had been posted or eavesdropping on the proprietor’s (Richard) conversations with others.Well, for your info, unless you have gone to the wrong sauna, the one mending the counter at RAW is Richard. The boss of RAW is Max. The boss of Shogun is Vincent. Are you sure we are talking about the same thing here? Raw is at Ann Siang Hill and Shogun is at Telok Ayer. Hmm...Besides having failed memories, you are also having reading problems, than don't blame people for having "poor business acumen". I don't know how long you can stand at the door to eavesdrop on the proprietor conversation with others, but I certainly would advice you to do it in the premise, seated and watching TV over a cup of drink.Your reasoning is similar to MM Lee’s admonition to his critics to run for elections and form the next government before making any criticisms.Than I presume your likeness mirrors that of our dear Mr JBJ. No facts, just shoot from the hip, then kenna whack jia lak, jia lak by MM Lee. So I take it that you are their appointed spokesman in BW. Why isn't this info dissipated via emails or posted on their website? Are you referring to Shogun or BW? (give yourself a slap) Jia Lak lah, you must be blurr already. I assume you are talking about Shogun. If you have read, which you didn't, the info IS on the Shogun website (http://www.shogun.com.sg/). Give yourself a slap again for not checking, Mr. JBJ Guest. Go get all your info correct before you say anything further and make yourself looked silly. http://gachimuchi2008.blogspot.com

Guest Heimin
Passed by Shogun(178, Telok Ayer St) today. They placed a notice that they are moving to 176, which is next door, however 176 is currently occupied by a Salon, business as usual and no sight of renovation work going on. Or remain like last time towards to indoor cruising dens?I visited Shogun for the 1st time when it opened few nights ago. No facilities like sauna, jacuzzi or steam room. Only things I saw was a video room with sofas, cubicle rooms at various level including roof top and toilets plus lockers. That's it. I was a bit dissapointed. Even the cubicle doors cannot be locked securely as it uses only a hook latch and anyone who shake it hard enough can unlatch it. No privacy! Baloo
I went there leow... on Friday C&C night.Quite happening.Decor... I like it!Rooms haven't used it yet... I love the Attic...Definitely improvement over the last place. Those who lament no sauna, no steam etc... hallo... you never been to Shogun before har??? You want those, go to Sphere or Diamond, or one-seven or any of the other places la...Shogun is for meeting and having fun... not for sauna and steam and pool... Becos it dun have such things, entrance fee is kept to minimal. Which is great.I definitely like it...And anytime in the night nowhere to go and dun feel like going home, can go there!! Perfect. I just hope no crazy fool go spoil the show and cause trouble there. Truely a nice place to just hide away for a few hours or even the night. :thumb:
Guest chubwithspecs
I went to Shogun on the 2nd and was surprise that the old management gave a full refurnish to the new place and I was stunt when I went up to the attic, big place to have fun and especially for those that are daring to stripped naked and walk around.Staff on duyt are tentative and greed every customer that comes in! I like it!Not like other saunas whereby staff are rude! They gave priority to regular customers and that pissed me off.By the way, I forgot to mentione the TV hall that is located on the 3rd level and please come see for yourself. It is beautifully furnish and the place is smoke free and the air-con is great! A vey homely touch! Unfortunately, the internet amd the gym area is not ready, anyway who cares it the nice place that makes me feel comfortable and for sure I will be back!Last but not least, the attic should not be pitch dark in the daytime and not forgetting the spiral staircase is a bit slippery. (the surface is well maintain, ha!)I hope the management will do something to it and for sure I will drop by on a lazy afternoon to spend some hours looking around, if you know what i mean. chub77
I went there on last Sat (with my darling) and i like it very much too... feel very cosy and homey... like back into my own home.... ... the boss is still as cheeky as ever... hehehe... I feel that it is good that there is no steam room, sauna or pool. If there are these facilities and the whole place stinks like the old V-Club, i won't go there even it is free entry...
