sphere Posted December 24, 2022 Report Share Posted December 24, 2022 I thought this show was good, the original intent of the programme was to create the awareness of the gays' lifestyle (or LGBT) in Hong Kong through the show - which definitely garnered quite a lot of attention from people 'everywhere'. [definitely for one, such programme is unlikely to be shown (or produced) locally] P/S: please do not read on if you have not seen the final 2 episodes. Anyway, there were quite a lot of (touching) sharing during the final episode, which I put some of the used phrases down here, 要学懂: 敢于失去的勇气 有些事情要主动争取 勇敢表达爱 坚持不放弃 被拒绝的勇气 要用心去认识每一个人 Kenny & Ray was a couple I didn't see that happening at the beginning, but they have very sweet/loving interaction even after 1 year - hope they would last! Actually, I couldn't see the 'spark' between Andrew & Carson, although they managed to match/pair up in the show at the end. Maybe that's why they didn't manage to continue as a couple a year after the show... (kind of expected). I really wonder why Carson and Andrew would get matched in the show, if Andrew would choose Louis, they might be same as Ray and Kenny happily together. I was surprised to hear him said that there are plans, but (this part I am unsurprised) he said that the hotel accomodations are too exorbitant to consider at this moment. I hope they will come by eventually. I like a lot of them because of their personality. My top 4 favs are: Kenny, Carson, Kevin and Ray. I didn't respond but I also heard from the host, Vinci, that because it was the first season, he really had to ask around for contestants. This means asking folks he knew, which means his pool of choices was very limited. There was no open call to get contestants. I personally found the contestants mostly attractive with memorable personalities. And the girls liked a lot of the contestants and they helps generates interests and sales for memorabilia.
