tic-toc
but these chocolitier are so expensive. If anyone going to Switzerland, please buy back any chocolates. Even those from supermarket are of substantial standard. Probably they have better cow milk and they have long history of selling nice chocolates. castaway
I am not chocolate fan but the best chocolate I ate is from Belgium :thumb: Anybody can advise if eating chocolate will make us fat ? Baloo
eating pure dark chocolate will not make u fat. in fact it is actually good for health taken sparingly.it's the sugar and milk that is added to the 'milk' chocolate that makes u fat...dark chocolate has much reduced milk and sugar ... and is actually a 'bitte' chocolate... that does not make u fat... tic-toc
In today's Chinese paper ZaoBao, page 3 of "Pop culture" segment, there is an interview of a chocolate expert from Nestle Switzerland. There are some pointers on how to savor chocolates. Quote If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun.
Guest foodie
chocolates are best eaten at room temperature and not straight from the fridge. when chilled, the flavour is kind of suppressed. same thing goes for chocolate truffles. its best to store chocolates in a cool dry place and not in the refrigerator. i suppose most ppl will store chocolates in the refrigerator out of convenience. Guest cocoa bean
Attended a chocolate appreciation class and the lecturer kind of hinted Godiva is the most overrated chocolate of all. Nice packaging and over marketing makes people think it is the best chocolate around. He even say infact the marketing is good that it even makes you feel you belongs to "upper class' just by saying you like the brand.
