She is going to be the next Yvonne Lim... can act but latent.. Guo Liang deserved the award too.. He was very apt and did not overact his role.. Rebecca Lim has a real star quality and great presence. She is not trying to act cute(like Jeannette) or Faye Wong (like Rui En).She is just who she is, a relatable and likeable gal-nxt-door. She also exudes this regal air around her. She is multi-talented and has a wide range of acting roles/skills. She will definitely do well locally and in the region. She came in second or third after Joanna Peh in Ms Singapore right?Abang, I hope you are not turning straight for her? Yvonne is underrated. Place her beside any Hollywood/HK/TW/Korean actress and you will see how she pales in comparison in terms of star quality.Therefore she needs to have more regional exposure and joint acting projects with talented actors/actress in the region.She would need to hone and update her acting skills in the very near future.But she has potentials compared to the rest. On a side note, I was just talking to my 60 years old aunt and mentioned the name 'Rui En' and she blurted out 'I dun like her, I also dun like Tanya Chua' . Rebecca Lim's acting skills has nothing to do with her family background. It comes from one's aptitude, keen observation, mimicry, internalization, life experiences (travel, reading, music, arts), etc. As someone who is born with a silver spoon, she have to work hard to prove that she's not just her daddy's gal or a vase.
