He is less particular with female artistes though, eg. Pat Mok.I wonder if he has showered gifts on those old veterans to BEFRIEND them? It is not a matter of believer or non-believer. Even if you believe but David Gan doesn't shower you with gifts, it's no use. David Gan befriending young handsome male artistes is debatable. He has a very good friend called Chen Hanwei who doesn't fit your description. Tay Ping Hui and Elvin Ng are not friends with David Gan even though they fit your description. On a side note, in one of the episodes of the same program where David Gan come and donate his items, he explained on TV that he needs to be loud and seek attention because he doesn't have the paper qualification that Singapore demands. As a gay himself, are all these actions done by David Gan representative of the gay community?
