THough I am not a fan of Fann, and her performance in translating is so-so only, but I think it is good to showcase Sporeans' ability to manage more than 1 language (daren't use the word bilingual here). She has done an averagely good job, I cannot imagine how others like Patricia Mok, Mark Lee, Chua EnLai, etc - who either show poor mastery in one of the languages, or poor in both. My point is: Singaporeans should learn to speak proper Mandarin and proper English, becoz that should be our edge against other nationalities.
