Guest Guest
4. Director Lawrence was making fun of Zhou Weiyun's wrinkled CB until Yao-Zhu Kang Li stepped in. Now the season 1 scriptwriter was damn daring to have included this "wrinkled CB" talk about Zhou Weiyun into the script, but it was great! Guest guest
Life Fear Not 人生无所畏Ch 8 mon-fri 7.30pm (starting 19 oct)120 episodes...a long drama like 118. But instead of coffeeshop, it is set in a small hotel. In this drama, Chen Liping and Rayson Tan finally wore wedding dress...they didn't do so in real life last time. Aloysius Pang....will clash with his 9pm drama. Also noticed Carrie Wong in quite a few dramas (now and future).Hope viewers don't get too tired of them. This drama theme song is by the Lorong Boys (with Rit Xu)...so good to see them going places. Written by Liang Wenfu. Some play they did to introduce their chars to the media. There's a new actor Yusuke, a japanese from Taiwan. Think he's one of Felicia's suitors. Reminds me abit of Adam Chen. More about Carrie Wong, during 118, read news that she's good friend with another taiwan actor Charles Lee (Li Jiaqing) who acted as ChouXiaoZi in 118...now she seems to have good chemisty acting with Aloysius Pang....who i read in a few articles (for different dramas), the older cast often sing praises of him being mature, respectful and caring...so should be some truth to it.http://entertainment.toggle.sg/en/localbuzz/article/life-fear-not-ruined-5766796

Guest Guest
You look at Lao Zoe now, she doesn't have the glow despite MCS trying hard to artificially pump up her status. Why? Because she is living 'on' her past 'glories', she keeps talking about the good old days at MCS. Why is Lao Zoe like that? Besides she personally doesn't possess the necessary qualities of a REAL star (she was artificially pushed up by MCS and her media lackeys), and also she doesn't have fans who tell her frankly about her limitations. They keep singing her praises despite her lacklustre performance/achievement & the reality behind her 'success' at MCS. Ironically, it's her FANS (which include the local media) & her FRIENDS who caused her downfall. Their 'over-protectiveness' caused her head to swell & act like a queen & so she expects a lot & complain a lot. Her fans think that by 'eliminating' her rival Fann Wong, their queen will live & rule forever. To their disappointment, there are people with brains & eyes who can see for themselves. To Lao Zoe, please don't expect everybody to kowtow to you, because you must know you actually didn't achieve anything without MCS. Every accolade you had received came from mcs, right from the moment you joined star search. Don't say you had worked very hard, because you are not the only one who had worked very hard. Anyway your pathetic track record speaks for itself.

Guest guest
Read from Zaobao...Joanne Peh, Qi Yuwu and their daughter will move to Beijing by end 2015 earliest. Probably b'cos Qi got more job offers in China...and in one recent interview in Melbourne, he said can't bear to separate from wife and child...so it's better to have whole family together. Joanne might still do 1 drama with mediacorp per yr.

Anyway your pathetic track record speaks for itself. I have no idea why so many of you, or just one person pretending to be different people, hate on Zoe so much. Zoe looks old cos she IS OLD. But compared to her peers like Xiang Yun, Chen Liping, Aileen Tan etc, she looks so much better than all of them. Obviously not fair to compare her to Joanne Peh or Rui En etc. Zoe's lack of acting nominations recently is because she keeps getting cast as boring characters like in 'You can be an angel' and 'The Dream Makers'. Acting wise, she is definitely better than Rui En/Jeanette Aw and on par with Chen Liping. Yes, Zoe was very lucky to be crowned Ah Jie as she came out during a time when TCS desperately needed an 'Ah Jie' and so they had to pick the most promising starlet during that era and in my opinion, she definitely deserves to be crowned an 'Ah Jie' during her prime. During her prime, all her contenders weren't as strong as her: Huang Biren - Still a B-list actress during the early 90sChen Liping - Very ordinary girl next door look, don't have the X factorXiang Yun - No X Factor and not pretty at all. Only good thing is that she can actAileen Tan - Always talk rubbish, bad PR skillsPan Ling Ling - Lousy acting despite having the X factor. Not ambitious at all and killed her image when she started dating that loser HSN. So during that time, Zoe was the strongest contender. She was easily the prettiest among all of them (maybe except Pan Ling Ling), was a good actress, had good chemistry with future Ah Ge 'Li Nanxing', and most important, had a huge fan base and the necessary X-Factor to be an Ah Jie P.S: I'm actually a Fann Wong fan, but I don't think Zoe deserves all the hate from yall here. Exactly, what respect does she expect to get when a closer scrutiny of her track record shows up an unparalleled series of flops, boo-boos and controversies for 20 years?? Does she want respect for converting a 5-minute rape scene in 1991 into 20 years of fame??

Obviously this rubbish old hag is just a deflated hot air balloon, all hype no substance, she's got an unparalleled track record of flops and failures! Not marketable, not versatile, no overseas exposure, no substance, no looks!Ah Jie my ass. Not to mention all these years when other actors like Fann, Chris, Yvonne, JA etc are diversifying into the region, Zoe remained stuck on her throne in Mediacock, unable or unwilling to move. Just look at her now, queen in name only, but no actual bargaining power or market value.
Guest Guest
Exactly, what respect does she expect to get when a closer scrutiny of her track record shows up an unparalleled series of flops, boo-boos and controversies for 20 years?? Does she want respect for converting a 5-minute rape scene in 1991 into 20 years of fame?? She can be fucked every 5 mins interval for 20 years. LaoZoe has no real substance or capabilities, she cannot stand on her own feet while hiding under that fake crown given by mediacock. Nobody outside SG will be interested in this old hag. Nobody outside SG will be interested in this old hag. In fact even within SG, filmmakers like Jack Neo won't touch her with a 10-foot pole, she is reduced to offering herself for free to Eric Khoo (she ownself say one) and picking strawberries from the same farm as Royston Tan to get some attention with the filmmakers.
