Read somewhere before that Elvin's script is full of his own notes analysing his own characters. Although he doesn't have natural acting ability, his hard working nature compensates well for it. Plus remember his breakthrough period from 2009 to 2010 when he stunned critics with his incredible performances in 'Together' and 'Breakout'? I think those 2 roles really helped him survive till now. Whereas guys like Bryan Wong Yan Li and the Zhijian they have good bods but face wise, not exceptionally good looking. So they will probably start out in supporting roles and they will need to have talent or very good work ethics to propel them up to leading man status.
