I'm sure Jeanette Aw put in a lot of effort into crafting the role but she completely overthought every single thing. And this isn't just my opinion because so many people have commented on how unnatural her performance was. No self-respecting award ceremony out there rewards overacting ok? So overall look like a fight btw 118 and Dream makers 2. One change is they combine the Host categories into one. Used to have variety n info-ed types. I wont say acting good or not...n whether due to contract issues....roles which i find not bad but no nominations...Cavin soh as that sissy makeup artist in a drama with Jeanette and Elvin. I wonder why don’t they groom Felicia instead, they are only 2 years apart but Felicia has so much more experience and better acting skills. Last year Rebecca’s nomination much less win was a fluke and this year they did it again while ignoring better performances like Felicia and Joanne. She must have done a lot work at the back. Yahui probably got it because there will be a 118 sequel coming this year and her Jin Zhi character was well liked. As for Romeo, he is one of the groomed 8 dukes, no surprises he is in. The supporting list is rubbish, all a bunch of young mediocre actors and actresses that the company wants to groom. Andie Chen and Edwin Goh are the better ones amongst the bunch.
