Guest
Lao Zoe's downfall in her career is well-known throughout Singapore, but why did she fail? Apart from her bad acting, poor singing and lack of substance, there are other reasons: 1. Her lackeys sabotaged her by linking her success to viewership ratings in the 90s. Her critics used the same yardstick to prove that she's no longer popular. 2. Her lackeys chose to compare her to Fann Wong, whose career enjoyed an unprecedented rise into the region and internationally, and whose achievements remain unmatched to date. Of course the old hag looks totally incompetent next to Fann. The old hag's lackeys shouldn't curse Fann because they were the ones who did the comparing. If Fann had failed instead, the old hag's lackeys would waste no time stepping on her and showing that Lao Zoe is better. 3. Her lackeys chose to crown her with fake glowing epithets like "No. 1", "Queen", "无可取代的阿姐" and all that shit. When other actresses like Huang Biren, Xiang Yun, Jeanette Aw, Rui En, Joanne Peh, Rebecca Lim, Aileen Tan, Li Yinzhu, Cynthia Wang Xinru etc etc overtook her in acting skills, substance and achievements, it made her look really bad. She's definitely no No. 1, unless you mean from the bottom. LOL 4. Her lackeys chose to badmouth other actresses. Fann Wong. Nuff said. 5. Her lackeys chose to 包庇 her, defend her when she obviously cocked up, eg. at Star Awards 2005 when she badgered Chris to propose to Fann. Her lackeys would also deviously distribute the blame to the scriptwriter and cast when her dramas flop, while claiming credit if the drama is a success. Too bad, the whole of Singapore saw through these cheap tactics, and wrote off Zoe Tay as a has-been who cannot make it. Conclusion: her lackeys caused her downfall. Just a promo trip and a self-given trophy at an in-house award show, and she's considered damn popular in Cambodia? Her lackeys and MediaCorp really think they can fool the public. If she really could make it in Cambodia showbiz, then why isn't she in their productions? If she is so popular y did old xuan win the most popular awards instead?
