Just to add some background: Fann Wong gave MediaCorp a lot of face when she allowed their contract to quietly expire in April 2012. Meanwhile she went undercover as a freelancer for nearly a year, working in China on roles such as 暴走吧女人 and 屯术西江. It was only a year later, in February 2013, when she signed a 经纪约 with Catwalk. At around the same time, scriptwriters sent her the role of Zhou Weiyun which she rejected. After that, Fann Wong chose not to be involved in local dramas. Why would she, when she was sabotaged time and again, with dud roles in Ultimatum, Be Happy and (almost) Dream Makers 1 as Zhou Weiyun? Even if the old hag's lackey is correct that MediaCorp blacklisted her, they do so at their own loss. Their failure to achieve a win-win situation because of their pettiness about Fann is telling.
