There in no international star among those awarded with "star" and unsurprisingly always given out to the same persons until it became too stale and boring to watch. Andie is more deserving as his role in 大英雄 is a big scretch 4. 陳丽贞 best supporting actress is well worth. she acted well in 大英雄! 5.向云 veteran award is also well worth. she carries the whole show in 富贵平安 literally! 6.Julie Tan NOT in top 10 star is a surprise! 7.Xubin NOT in top 10 male star is a shock... perhaps his fan listened to him not to vote. hahaha romeo looks very bloated, and his big fedora black coat makes him looks fatter... and his face is drooping badly! shane bao also looks terrible. the 8 dukes saga seem a complete failure. Can't believe it's been so long since him, Andie Chen and Ya Hui competed in Star Search. Among the newer batch of artistes, I think that these three have greater depth in their acting. Ya Hui has never gotten good roles, always very bland characters which is a shame, I think her emotional scenes in 118 are quite touching... Desmond Tan is a true heartthrob, why aren't they grooming him and giving him better roles! They could not have predicted beforehand that Fann Wong announced her move to Catwalk in Jan 2013. In any event, they forwarded the role to her soon after, but she rejected the same. Without her, DM1 production team had to reshuffle the lead roles. Old hag had no choice but to play Zhou Weiyun. Chen Liping was roped in to take over Yao Zhu Kang Li. Yu Fan, originally to be played by Dennis Chew, was played by Chen Hanwei. Dennis was reshuffled to play Rui En's elder brother. Bryan Wong who was supposed to play Rui En's elder brother was taken out of the show. You can dispute this but it's a fact that the old hag played Zhou Weiyun against her will. In season 2, the scriptwriters tried to make it up to her by writing out CLP's character and sanitizing the hussy's character. Too bad, the unsuitability still showed. More crucially, the focus of the show was really on RE and JA, not the old hag. She was a complete flop in both seasons 1 and 2. Haha. haha is this true????
