FYI for all past Best Actress nominees in Asian TV Awards BEFORE ZOE TAY..

In 2010, Rebecca Lim, Quan Yifong, Jeanette Aw, Michelle Chia, Janice Koh were all nominated, Rebecca Lim won Best Actress. 

In 2012, Ruien, Ann Kok and Joanne Peh were nominated. Ruien won.

In 2014, Ruien was nominated again

In 2016, Felicia Chin was nominated

 

This cmi 50 years old Zoe Tay rubbish act for 30 years just to get a nomination.

A consolation prize in 1996 after losing to Fann Wong the year before, and a strange award out of the blue in 2017 for a nondescript role which didn't even attract any praises from the critics and public.

Kara accepted motherly roles graciously during the lull years... She was in very good supporting roles in movies like 武侠。。in fact although she had barely a few minutes,  she and 王羽 stole the show from Donnie Yen and 汤唯。

 

Now for those who not watched her previous movies... Try google them in you tube... You will find that she command presence in psycho mothers so well that I do not wish to be around here.. Including her role， 棠夫人 in 血观音。。

Her small frame cannot carry such a heavy dress..  The bell sleeves and the super long skirt fits someone of 1.8m stature.. Not on that farm girl.. Score 0/10..
