It could be a villain with a certain vulnerability or someone who turned bad due to circumstances. No one is wholly bad or good. I’m sure I have my dark side too as a person, but nothing too extreme.” These days, the multi-faceted actor shuffles between Malaysia and Singapore or “wherever my job takes me”, he chirped. Wong is currently set to appear in Viva La Model, an 8TV production he claims will reveal the dark side of the modelling industry. “I play a big boss who is hungry for revenge on the show,” he said. Wong also revealed plans to venture into hosting. “But don’t write that down, I’m not suppose to announce it yet!” he added hastily. With his busy schedule, it is no wonder that the pretty-boy actor chose to stay single. “It’s very hard for me to be in a relationship at this moment. My schedule is so erratic. “But in the future, I would like to date someone who is kind and who I can trust. Looks aren’t all that important to me. It’s a person’s character that matters most. And of course, there has to be chemistry.” Now with a TV career on the rise, Wong says he is itching to see more of the world. “My past modelling gigs have brought me to different countries and I learned a lot from being among people who are different from myself. I always look forward to meeting new people and seeing new things.
