It was grand and the competition format was musical based. They had something similar in 1999 but was held in Mediacorp Theatre. I believe after Zetong and Siming joined MCS and under their grooming on their appearance, these two will become very good looking. Cause you see many previous years star search contestants, many of them looks so normal and not so good looking during the competition, but over the years all have become cutie and body also become toned and nice. The drama serial slot from 7 to 8pm has been taken away and replaced by some lame long light-hearted drama serial (think 118). There is absolutely no opportunity at all for many promising actors/actresses. Some of them have no choice but to accept lame roles that are not even supporting roles.
