Did well in dance + spontaneous and acting but lack x-factor and charisma. No winner look. Jiayun - Got x-factor and high chance to be 当家花旦 to be in years to come. Likely to follow in Rebecca's footstep to complete studies then become actress. Tyler - MDC needs actor like him who can act in both good and bad roles, like TPH and Terence Cao. I'm pretty sure he can succeed if MDC grooms him and give him the opportunities to hone his acting skill. I'm pretty sure he can really success and stay in the industry for long. Sheryl - She was fan girling through the entire night. It's a no-no to do in a competition. Juin - Lost competition because of age. highly likely MDC will sign her up and work full time as host in the variety department. She will definitely do well and probably join QYF and Kym to receive best variety/info-tainment host in the next few years. MDC current lack of hosts and Juin will become a real threat to yangguang kele. Gini - Not placed not because not good, it's because she lacks of height. Also because his performance last night at the acting segment was one of the most convincing one as he acted very comfortably,even though the last part was a bit exaggerating. He arched his brows n acted hamsup BUT iy was difficult to catch his expressions. Din help tt his role is one dimensional. He can be funny as well as bad guy etc. But he seems like he has more potential in moving towards comedian path, and he no scare of his image by making himself looks ugly. I'm also really happy to see that Stephen, Carina and Simon were impressed with the quality of the contestants. They were surprised by the contestant performances and didnt belieev they are all rookies in acting. Apart from the technical glitches on tv, SS2019 has the best contestants and format since 1997. I think it’s more like this year we have multiple contestants who have star appeals and are marketable as compared to 01/03/07/10. Somehow I think MDC make it a right choice not to go regional in 2019 edition. Yes, we do have contestants who are foreigners but there is no minimum quota to meet for each countries. This is good start. After all, we are looking for local talents to act on local dramas, who are more related and less foreign accents. The competition format has changed for the better to make it more grand and spectacular, partly cos of the three mega HK stars as judges. I really like the acting segment cos the staging / props were well designed and the script was well written. It is unlike the past few editions where we have poorly written scripts and scenes.
