It was for sure the right move! 1. The move will definitely 刺激 the currently stagnant entertainment industry due to a lack in talents. 2. The SS contestants will likely boost the competition in the popularity categories in star awards, which sees a lack of youngsters right now. 3. They are trained as compared to other talent shows contestants who do not have the proper training in the first place, hence they already have a head start. If MDC were to groom them properly, I’m sure they will have the capabilities to bring in younger audiences to watch local production. I'm pretty sure this pool of talent will be here to stay for the next 2 years, if they are given the right grooming and opportunities. Like i have siad, they already had a head start as compared to other talent show contestants, so MDC will definitely continue to invest.
