She is quite likeable and her acting is quite natural in the show. Jiayun has the potential but has to brush up her language and acting by a lot. If Rebecca can do it, I’m sure she can. They are a little different from the usual that we see on tv. It’s very obvious that they are trying to rebrand with more content across all demographics. I largely believe The driver 伺机 and All Around You 回路网 are the kind of content that many people would binge watch on the internet. If MDC can continue to explore different plots and stories, I’m sure viewers will eventually return. One thing they need to note is to write scripts and film it like the Americans, Koreans, Chinese and HKTV. That’s the golden standard. How I wish MDC can take a leap of faith to produce more OTT romance drama like those from Koreas. And also to invest in musics they used in the drama. If they can do it, I don’t see why viewers don’t choose to watch local drama anymore. For now, I cant wait for the next drama 我的女神罗明依 which has quite a few 古装 episodes.
