Indeed, he is good looking, muscular too (strong arms - makes me want to use my finger to poke his biceps)! He also look a bit like Thai Chinese. If he was ambitious, he would have stayed on in Hollywood after Crazy Rich Asians and try to breakthrough there like what Tan Kheng Hua did. Instead, he decided to come back to SG to be an A Lister in a very small pond when many of his peers like TPH are trying to crack the international market. So wasted considering he had such a prominent role in Crazy Rich Asians. I believe if he stuck around in Hollywood, he would have gotten more roles there. He would have had an easier time cracking Hollywood than DYT cos he already had a starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster. Even Chin Han managed to get steady jobs in Hollywood. Plus Pierre should be financially secure by now. So even if he stuck around in Hollywood for a year and had zero gigs, he would be fine. Tan Kheng Hua is even older than him. But because she was brave, she stayed on in Hollywood and managed to get roles in Grey's Anatomy, Magnum PI and an upcoming series Kung Fu. Pierre is just not ambitious and contented already. Her role as Kitty Pong is actually one of the leads in the 2nd and 3rd books. I read the books and her character is actually a very likeable and complex role, not as superficial as it seems in the first book/film. Recently you see all those product endorsement on tv during the CB period until now, those artistes used all not popular one. Even nick teo also have one endorsement.
