You are probably the only person in SG who thinks lowly of Chen Li Ping. Throughout her career, CLP has delivered great performances in a wide variety of roles. Like Huang Biren, CLP became an A-Lister because people like watching her performances. She certainly didn't become popular because of her looks. Even those people who constantly bash Mediacorp shows and say they 20 years never watch Ch8 will also concede that CLP is a good actress. When compared to HK/Taiwanese actress her age, she is definitely among the best and on par with actresses like Sheren Tang and better than Ada Choi or Jessica Hsuan.
