marr_bicurious
Hi, have a >10 yr old Mac desktop. Usually leave it to sleep in recent years. Recently, it repeatedly shows the Apple logo and progress bar, then loads a white screen of death. Tried restarting and pressing the shift key to try to start in safe mode. but didn't work. Any tips? JK2E4
Not sure if this helps, but got this list online, - Disconnect all peripherals - Restart in Safe Mode - Run Disk Utility from Recovery - Reset NVRAM (or PRAM) - Power up your Mac with the Startup Manager and select your Startup Disk Manually - Launch Single User or Verbose Mode with Terminal - Reinstall macOS or OS X - Run Apple Diagnostics or Apple Hardware Test
