I think foreigners are buying the apartment at Forest City which was preivously called "Ghost Town" in Malaysia. Singapore is getting more expensive until Lao Sai. NTUC has marked up Milo Kosong considerably too, among many items. 14 minutes ago, Guest Guest said: Important thing is whether for $5, eat already do u feel full and satisfied? singalion
Why focus on hawker food prices? Not worth starting a thread on Hawker prices. Do you think with the price increases everywhere the hawkers can maintain the price from 1998? One small bottle coke jumped from 80 cents to 2.30 last ten years, same at Fairprice... now there at 1.80.

Like the bits of meat and the sliced cucumber with tomato sauce. And little bites of potato...and the signature noodles in deep red. a bit rubbery

Cannot resist the urge to share your thoughts ? Buy the $1 for1 litre bottle coke from Value $. Some places kopi c $1.40. Kopi /TehO $1.20. After a while they lowered back to $1.20 and $1.10 because nobody ordered.
singalion
Why focus on hawker food prices? The real price hikes don't originate at hawkers. Do you think hawkers should bulk up losses just because of you? How many years did hawker stall owners not increase prices?

They need you but KF Seetoh already there and he will defend his post like a pitbull.
