Just saw this thread and yeah, I'd really love to give it a shot again. Many years ago, I had the most epic bromance with one of my dragonboat buddy. We were inseparable, like Batman and Robin. Anyway, things got a bit complicated when I got attached, and he got jealous. Eventually, we drifted apart, and now, we barely contact each other since he's tied the knot. But here's the thing: I really miss those good old days. The laughs, the adventures, the shared cubicle, the unspoken bro-code... it was something special. So, if my "Bro" happens to stumble upon this, or if anyone else here has a similar bromance story, I'd love to start things over and rekindle that amazing bromance.

Hello, I’m into bromance too.

actually what is the definition of bromance

Same question in my mind.

For me, bromance, like I had before with straight guys, is having a close friendship with a guy (regardless of preference and can be straight, gay or bi) that is somehow sticky, intimate (not sexual) - can be touchy and teasing without going beyond. Two guys too close as if they are dating but are not or not crossing the line.

I mean, why would we call it bromance if it's a LTR or romantic relationship with guys?

As a bimarried, I also seek a bromance companion, a friend or buddy- not for sx but for friendship and companionship. Anyone who has the same bromance concept? Curious to have a bromance cg on Telegram lol. 😄

Perhaps this is a good way to define bromance? I resonate on this.\

Used to have a good friend at work, a straight guy, with whom I found company in a time I lived on my own. He was a great adviser on man-things- fixing car, repair stuff, computer or tech thing etc. So I relied on him on this and he would generously give time for it. Sometimes we talked about gyming and since I was the one who was into it, he would check out and touch my chest to feel those muscles. His touch was without malice but was just checking out. He'd just grab my shoulders and wrap into arms like close guy friends and would do like when if I'm showing him something and he needs to be close. I remember once, I got uncomfortable when he did that and sat so close, I got my self checking if anyone was there checking us. LOL.

We'd gone out together once in a while- movie, for an onsen and as I was so curious about him, I even attempted a 3some with a girl but did not work out. Haha. All this time I was curious about him but not really wanted to break the relationship. Something happened when I had a misunderstanding with an ex-colleague and he bad-mouthed me with this buddy. And so he ghosted me. After many years we got in touch again with facebook but we're far apart so we have not met personally.

How I wish I find someone like him.
