shibashiba Posted December 26, 2023 Report Share Posted December 26, 2023 i just had an AMAZING massage session with JJ. upon arrival at vaness spa, i was greeting at the door by Jason and JJ. they welcomed me to the spa and ushered me into the room. in the room, JJ assessed my body, checking for any mobility issues and sore spots. he was extremely meticulous and he helped me reset some of my bones - immediately granting me relief as i've not been able to sleep well cause of soreness. JJ then proceeded with the massage proper and holy shit, it was fking amazing. even though i'm huge compared to JJ, he still had the strength and (more importantly) technique to accurately massage the areas of which i was most sore at. i highly recommend asking for JJ if you're keen and have mobility issues - i do BJJ hence i was sore. definitely will return for another session when i need a good massage again. What I like about the massage Jason's pressure is hard and released many of my tight muscles due to prolong sitting and working. Felt pretty relief afterwards. He made efforts to explain to me what he is doing, and why he is doing that, which to me is very professional. What I didn't like about the massage This is tough.. cos there's nothing I didn't like if I really had to write something.. maybe the noise from outside the shop is still very audible, which makes me wonder if people from outside could also hear talking from inside. But this is a venue problem, nothing to do with the masseur. All in all, a very nice job done Jason! Definitely someone I would go back to when I'm in that area! Location: easy to find (alight at the bus stop, go in the first door you see and take the lift up) Ambience: As stated earlier by others, the noise from the mall is audible. Facilities: The place is very spartan and functional, with an indoor shower cube. Would be good to have a shoe rack outside for customers to put their shoes so they wouldn't be dirtying the nice vinyl floor. Service: Jason's service is attentive and kind. Responses to messages fast. However it was also sad to say he had to attend to his phone in the earliest part of the massage. Price: The price is a little more than the usual chains I visit for the base package A. Skill/flow: Jason has good skills and was efficient in his strokes. A tad rushed at times though. Chest massage was sensual and leg massage was unlike the usual fare. I didn't get a butt massage though maybe because I was still clothed. The place is quite easy to locate either by MRT (Nicole Highway station) or by bus. For me, I find bus a better option as you don't have to walk that much to reach aircon paradise with such scorching weather for the past few weeks. If you worry about the busking conversations which you can hear outside the shop then you have the option of visiting during night time while it will be more quiet. The massage was performed by Jason and Dong. The flow was good with each of them targeting half of your bod. You can opt for strong pressure to treat your aches and pain or the relaxing pressure so that you can have a better sleep for the night. A dry rub was performed to relax the body and prepare for the oil massage. It may seems not like your typical synchronized flow but it does not make you feel there is disruption. Each masseur will be doing his designated area but there is no clashes in the tugging or rubbing. Each masseur accommodate with each other and performing the session in harmony allowing you to achieve the desired purpose you wanted. Stiff necks, tense backs, knotty muscles knots, tense calves will all be eased out by the wonderful skilled hands. Both front and back will be massaged.
