How to help bf migrate to Singapore

I have a bf of about 6 years. Unfortunately he does not have paper qualifications that Singapore wants, and he is older (mid 50s).

Any suggestions on how to bring him to live in Singapore?

Sometimes I wonder if I should arrange for him to get married to a woman in SG just so he can get in, but I don't know where to find such a woman.

Is there a possibility that you find it attractive to live in the country of your BF, if you have the qualifications to do so?  If he is an American,  you can always get residency by marrying him.    And one day, who knows,  Singapore may recognize same-sex marriages and you two can return there?

No paper qualification? If only he has minimum S$10 million dollars to invest, welcome to Singapore.

What is the minimum investment to get PR in Singapore?
SGD 10 million
The applicant must invest in one of the following: A new business entity or expansion of an existing business in an approved business sector (SGD 10 million). An approved fund that invests in Singapore based companies (SGD 25 million). Singapore based family office (SDG 50 million).

I always thought Singapore welcomes "certain nationalities" (US, UK, AU etc. included?) more than others .... ? 😳

Singapore is extremely crowded, cost of living  his high, democracy is far from perfect.  Why put your bf in great trouble to bring him in?  He could be better off without staying here.

1. Do you have a stable, secure work and are financially independent? If you have, you can plan for your future with him and live in another country.

2. You can choose to live in his country or a nearby country where it is easier to get permanent residence, etc.

3. It is a dumb move to have your bf married a Singapore woman just so that he can be in Sg. It will never work because the government would have a way to find out if your bf married is legit and it may backfire and get your bf in jail for fraud and ban from Singapore for life. No Singapore woman in their right mind, would be dumb enough to have their name used in a sham marriage knowingly and not worried about getting trouble with the law?

I hope the above will knock some sense into you.

You can set up a cleaning company, bring him in as work permit holder and get him to clean our public toilet.

The only way I see is that he starts his own company. Not sure what his skills are though.

Can do a restaurant or hawker stall and later apply for PR, if he is long enough here.

Marrying a woman is stupid. If she is sort of a China girl, she will start extorting monies from him.

Then, there is a risk, that one tells the secret and both end in jail. #
