Incanto Posted January 1 Report Share Posted January 1 Just visited uncle Tim recently and here's my review: Strength: 9/10 Pressure: 9/10 Strokes: 8/10 Overall: 8.5/10 Of all the mature masseurs that i've tried, i would think that uncle Tim is comparable/ slightly better than Kim/Raymond/Sam. Massage is done in a bedroom in a condo unit in Geylang with attached shower. He would ask what pressure (light or heavy) you would prefer before he starts. This is an oil massage. His strokes are on point and good for a regular gymmer like me. Do note that he has a thick northern Chinese accent, so it was a bit hard to understand him. The long strokes keep me wanting more to ease the tension and pain on my back and thighs. The hands and feet massage also were very soothing. He concentrated on the massage all throughout and didn’t even bother to check his phone. We had difficulty in conversing as he really was unable to talk even a little english but we understood by hand gestures 😁😬🫠. Even though we had difficulties in conversing he was very accommodating and he made sure i was comfortable during the massage. I was very satisfied and will definitely come back to have another massage session with Uncle! Gentle and good strength, the customer may request for more / less pressure if needed. His massage helped to relax my tensed muscle effectively. I've requested to put more attention to my lower back which is constantly strained from sleep posture. The pressure is just perfect for me. And there's no idle time during 1.5 hours. While chatting, he shared with me an incident that happened the same afternoon. Someone made an appointment with him at 2pm earlier. At the same time, another guy also tried to book an appointment with him for the same time slot; so he had to turn down the latter. But at the appointed time, the first chap did not turn up. Uncle Tim told me he tried to contact that guy several times but he did not respond and after those several attempts, that chap actually switched off his mobile. If what he told me is true, then I would like to raise this issue here so hopefully that chap who did this to Uncle Tim would reflect on what he has done. I believe all of us have a place in society and all of us have a place to eke out an honest living, regardless of the stature and status of the job. I think the conventional wisdom and as a matter of courtesy when one is confronted with a last minute urgent matter, is to call up the masseur to cancel or postpone the appointment. It is another matter when the person decided that he owes no such basic courtesy to the service provider but simply going MIA. It is most heart wrenching to note also that Uncle Tim at his waning years still need to uproot himself to eke out a living in a foreign land and be treated like a dispensable item. Uncle Tim was not bitter but still appears cheerful despite the rude treatment. But he not only lost that income he had to suffer the indignity this person handed out to him. We may be different from most people due to our orientation but it doesn't give us the entitlement to disrespect. You know who you are and I hope you reflect on this carefully so you know how to learn to respect others to respect yourself. I hope you have the wisdom to know what to do to redeem yourself. There is no deposit needed for his massage service. His location is not difficult to find. He is a very nice elderly man. His massage skill is good except for me is a little bit painful. He got a very strong hand. I enjoy chatting with him during the massage.
