Cosmo guy
went to china 2 times within this year, had very good trip, love all the cities, very vibrant and nice, people are so friendly compared to people in Singapore Its very easy to make friends, especially if you are a foreigner, they are so interested to know more about foreigner Everything is china is big, so be prepared to walk and walk If you can read or understand Mandarin, that is a plus to see and discover the hidden plu in China John Sam
ithink
A few low key gems to consider - Wuyishan in Fujian for its misty mountain scenery away from crowds. Pingyao in . has beautifully preserved ancient walled city with traditional architecture and smaller crowds than similar places. Zhuhai in Guangdong has fascinating temple complexes like Chuangong Temple tucked near Macau. Hangzhou just outside Shanghai is also worth a visit for relaxation on West Lake despite getting fewer tourists than other areas. Steve5380
Where in China do I like the best? My best likening is NO CHINA. Not even as a tourist! This feeling I got reaffirmed after watching the following videos: and so many other videos..... !!!! As an engineer, I am left HORRIFIED by the lax regulations and corruption, by contractors, sub-contractors, sub-sub contractors, sub-sub-sub contractors... Concrete under traction without steel reinforcement. Cement that disintegrates like sand, etc. This videos should be watched by so many of my American countrymen who are so, sooo opposed to goverment regulations!!!
