Hollywood's Meanest Celebs

The problem with all these claims of celebs being "mean" is that sometimes things are taken out of context, and sensationalized by the media. Imagine you are a celeb and going through a tough day or dealing with some problems. You happen to be out for a walk to clear your thoughts and some stranger asks you for a selfie. You may obliged to the first person, then another person, then another person... next thing you know, you are hounded by strangers all asking for selfies. You finally snapped and had enough, and that moment was caught on camera, and went viral. You got labelled as "mean" for not wanting to take a selfie with the 30th person on the street while you are out on your walk.

Here is an example of Dua Lipa turning down a fan for a selfie because she is out with her family. Of course as the fan can spin the incident around and call her mean because she is entitled to that selfie.

Love.

Of course celebs are entitled to their private moments but...

Being mean to fans during official autograph sessions? Eg Babyface, Kool & the gang.

Being mean to interviewers eg David foster.

These are official meets by the record labels & concert organisers.👎

Some people can afford to be mean.  There is another type of Wannabe closer to home and KEN LIM came to mind for being a very mean "idol judge", or other judges seen in any competition trying to embarass and destroy someone's dignity because these so-called "Judges" are not exactly famous themselves.  Pui!

Well said. My sentiments exactly.

A lot of these people become very arrogant once they become successful. But they can also encounter failure after success.

Cher may go on TV like she's wronged by Madonna a 1000 times.

But from what I read and watched, Cher is no slouch in the mean department.

At the 1987 or 1988 American Music Awards. Cher addressed the crowd in the circle level seats :"you guys in the cheap seats!"

That first video about Justin Beiber is ridiculous. Of course stars in any genre should have some privacy and respect. But in Bieber's case, that idiot announcer made absolutely no mention of the fact that it was Bieber's Mum who got him involved in the music business in the first place. She always wanted him to work in that business and when there was an arrangement for the two of them fly to Atlanta when he was only 13 to discuss a record deal, she eagerly accepted the offer. It was in the building that they happened to bump into the pop singer Usher who ended up signing him to a recording contract.

Bieber's father had abandoned his wife and son when Justin was still a baby. As soon as he became famous and started making very serious money, the father suddenly reappeared in his life. And after the naked pic of Bieber on holiday with his girlfriend appeared when he was around 21, the father made ridiculously personal comments in public about the length of his d--k, basically suggesting he had inherited that from the father. As Bette Midler the singer and movie star said at the time "The biggest d--k in this situation is the dad who abadoned his son."

Parents of some young teenage stars are rarely blamed for not accepting their responsiblities as parents.

Something like Whitney's and Britney's dads did with the money.😱😱

Mean celebrities?  What is the problem?  I think that this is nothing serious,  as long as these celebrities don't violate the laws.

There should be no issues with entertainment, as long as it is voluntary, indiscriminate, lawful.

Other activities are much more serious.  Like issues with the food industry, the medical industry and a few others.

Celebrity? As long as our necessities plus some desires are well covered, there should be nothing better than to be totally unknown and insignificant.

Why you need help for that?  It is easy to get out of their way, and their wildness does not add much to the global warming. 😄
