Food that gets expensive when special request...

Less Sugar, pay more

Eggless Cake, pay more

No Meat, vegetarian, pay more

Same vegetable types from vegetarian stores/foodcourts ....pay more

Organic, Pay more

Low sodium, pay more

Less Salt pay more

Less Oil , pay more

 

all these more healthy ...less this and that...costs more.

 

 

what else... ?

 

Are retailers/Hawkers  taking advantage....

With the Government push for people to eat healthier food, it should have come with a cap on increasing fees.

 

The Zero Coke can/ bottle is still more expensive than the one with sugar.

This applies to a lot of items.

 

If the government doesn't come with the correlative regulation to make healthier cheaper, then don't expect it to be ...

Is your government doing this?  It is commendable,  and America should take example and fire all the people in its NIH ( National Institutes of Health ) who are bribed by the food manufacturers and drug companies.

There is an easy solution for this:

 

- Ignore all the hundreds of packages with processed foods full of wheat and sugar at the grocery store.

- Ignore all the sugary drinks including "health drinks", "health bars",  and drink WATER ( maybe with black coffee, tea ).

- Limit the consumption of fruits, those with high sugar content.

- Don't be afraid to eat eggs, cheese, some fish, meat and poultry. 

....

- If possible, cook and prepare all the food you eat,  selected among simple, unprocessed items. Things like legumes (lentils), dark green vegetables.  As yummy treats, eat dark chocolate, nuts ( walnuts, peeled almonds, brazil nuts (a few), etc. ).  Eat as seldom as possible and don't snack. Try intermittent fasting daily, like a 16 hour fast.
