Yes it's weird to go solo. 

 

Singaporeans are not the friendliest bunch and are generally quite clique-ish.

Even if you are hot, nobody will come talk to you unless you have mutual friends that can help you intro.

 

So if you go solo, you will definitely stand out and when you stand out, you will start to feel awkward and you will not have a good time.

If you don't have friends irl, find someone from BW to accompany you.

If you can hit the ball and run fast enough to the other side of the court to return the hit, I don't see why not?

Yes its weird, its quite an open event where you are pretty much visible. Its unlike pubs or clubs where lightings are dim and you might feel more at ease for being solo.

 

At least go with another person and you can start to mix around. If you are planning to be just solo all the way then you wont enjoy it and yes you will be weird unless you are really really thick skin and dun mind it at all.

My advice is also: If you don't have a team partner to go there, just go alone. You never know there might be other guys / girls solo and you then decide on teams.

If you are invited then the person inviting you should tell if you may come alone or necessarily need a partner.

I think you meant that you're going to BEACHBALL PINK WATERPARK 2024 on 29 June Saturday late night at Adventure Cove Waterpark at Resorts World Sentosa. 😅😅😅😅🙏🙏🙏🙏

Seriously please don't take advice from all these BW uncles telling you to go solo.

I can bet you 1000% none of them have ever been to Beach Ball.

 

I've gone to Beach Ball before and am going again this year and trust me, it will be super weird for you to go solo.

As someone else has said, it is an open event and you will stand out immediately as someone who went there without a group.

Even if you thick skin try to talk to people, they will reply you politely but nobody will make an effort with you cos you are the weirdo who came to BB solo.

Singaporeans are VERY clique-ish so even if you are hot, people will not be friendly with you and they will stick to the friends they came with.

 

My advice is find someone to go with. Even if it's your straight girl friend its ok.

As long as you have one friend accompany you, you won't stand out.

 

If you really no friends to go with, ask someone on BW to accompany you.

Or try posting on Out In SG and see if there's a group there going BB that you can join.

I prefer the Highhouse event. Easier to go alone and load up the alcohol and dance away. If I'm still feeling good, I will hit the sauna after that. Not into the Beachball event since it's pretty bright and I'll look too red from any alcohol plus it's too far from the sauna.
